Urvashi Rautela's Cannes 2025 red carpet outfit took flight with a Rs 5 Lakh parrot-shaped clutch

On behalf of all of Bollywood, Urvashi Rautela added every colour to the Cannes red carpet at the ongoing film festival. In case her life wasn’t already in technicolour, she wore a flamboyant Michael Cinco gown to the event and stood out from the crowd. Always the most uniquely dressed, Urvashi Rautela had a friend at hand to make her grand entry. A parrot, if you may, but not just any ordinary bird. A crystal-studded Judith Lieber clutch in the shape of a parrot covered in all colours of the rainbow and ultimately matching, if not camouflaging, with her ornate gown. The famous handbag brand is world-renowned for its unique shapes and designs that are doused in crystals, making them a fashion statement with any outfit when paired with it. And the price? Through the roof. An average Judith Lieber crystal-encrusted clutch costs around Rs 5 Lakh. Urvashi Rautela's parrot-shaped clutch was no exception. The Parrot-shaped clutch in scarlet red is priced at $5,695 (Rs. 4,85,984) and surely got the world talking. 

Judith Lieber's clientele has a wide spectrum, ranging from celebrities to art enthusiasts. Given the ostentatious status symbol of it being a collector's item, it's not surprising that it is no less than an art piece.
