Alia Bhatt's Cannes 2025 look book includes a Gucci saree and more

After making not one, but two Met Gala appearances and being appointed as a house ambassador for Gucci from India, Alia Bhatt's debut at the Cannes Film Festival has been a long time coming. It was an expected move for the Bollywood actress who has been steadily piecing together her international presence; which includes starring in a movie alongside Jamie Dornan and Gal Galdot as well as appearances at designer fashion shows across the world. In her latest stride at Cannes, Alia made sure to give the fashion world exactly what they wanted with her multiple appearances at the film festival.

On her second day at the event, which marked the closing ceremony of the 2025 edition of the festival, Alia Bhatt wore a silver mesh-detailed lehenga-esque saree creation designed by Gucci, which is the first-of-its-kind outfit for the Italian fashion house. The V-neckline blouse was paired with a high waist skirt, which sat on top of skin-toned fabric and was paired with a matching dupatta draped over her shoulder. The outfit featured Gucci's signature GG monogram with Swarovski crystals embellished throughout and a Chopard diamond necklace around her neck. Alia styled her hair in large waves and opted for a winged eye with bronzer sculpting her cheeks, a nude lip and a pearlescent manicure.

The previous day, she stepped up as a L'Oreal brand ambassador for an event in a strapless column Armani Privé gown. The shimmering black ensemble featured a bejewelled neckline and was worn by Alia with matching head gear and her usual minimal makeup with her hair pulled back.

For her big Cannes 2025 debut, the star wore a skin-tonal lace gown embroidered gown with white floral lace applique over the entirety of its length. From Schiaparelli's Spring 2025 Couture collection, it had an exposed bodice with a sweetheart neckline and cold shoulder detailing that rested on her arms. Accessories were minimal as ever as Alia simply picked oval pearl earrings and her diamond ring for jewellery. Her hair was slicked back into a sleek bun with baby hair coiled along her forehead and makeup for her debut moment was an elevated version of her signature dewy look.

Alia Bhatt has conquered the Cannes red carpet and there's no doubt about it.
