Beyond the appreciation of cinema from all across the globe, the Cannes Film Festival is a well-known spectacle for fashion lovers. Trends straight off the runway parade on the red carpet, while being worn by some of the most notable faces of international cinema. From Bollywood celebrities like Jacqueline Fernandez and Janhvi Kapoor to Hollywood greats like Nicole Kidman and Eva Longoria, the stars are shining brighter than ever in Southern France right now. On day 9 of the festival, take a look as numerous celebrities continue to leave their mark in their sophisticated outfits, from which Team HELLO! has picked their favourites.
1. Naomi Campbell
The 90s-era supermodel never misses when it comes to the red carpet. Naomi stepped out in a floor-length white dress with an asymmetrical neck. Her hair styled in a high pony paired well with her chic look; she paired her look with diamond earrings, a bracelet and a statement ring. For her makeup, she opted for winged black eyeliner and glossy lips.
2. Gracie Abrams
Gracie Abrams walked in an all-black ensemble that had embellishments near the neckline and the straps of the dress. She paired her black dress that just ended right above her ankles with a pair of black velvety pumps. The dress had a short black sheer trail to it. For makeup, Gracie opted for a clean-girl aesthetic consisting of nude lips and black liner traced on her waterline.
3. Cara Delevingne
Cara stunned in a floor-length maroon ball gown with a fitted waistline; her new raven-hair makeover with bangs was set in a wet hairstyle. As for makeup, she opted for soft smokey eyes and painted her lips a soft nude pink.
4. Elsa Hosk
Dressed in vintage Mugler, Else Hosk looked nothing short of breathtaking in a creation that was worn by Claudia Schiffer 30 years ago. She paired her black and gold ensemble with a string of pearls around her neck. She wore a thick black jacket with a gold-coloured lining over her skin-hugging black and gold-lined outfit.
5. Coco Rocha
Coco Rocha brought drama to the Cannes red carpet in a stunning creation by Ionut Razwan. Her look was right out of fashion coffee table books and included a voluminous hairdo. The shirt-style floor-length gown with a fishtail hem truly made a fashion statement like no other.
