It's official! Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are now man and wife. The billionaire founder of Amazon and Blue Origin married the author and licensed pilot at the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, located in Italy. The newlyweds, who have been in a relationship since May 2019 and engaged since May 2023, walked down the aisle to finally enter their bubble of marital bliss on June 27, 2025. This was far from an ordinary wedding, though. Their wedding venues featured the most picturesque of Italian locations, their friends celebrating their union included Oprah Winfrey, Usher and Tom Brady and yet, even with all the fanfare surrounding the extravagant affair, Lauren's wedding dress still managed to steal the spotlight.
Lauren's bridal gown was designed by Italian designer label Dolce & Gabbana, which was founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. She chose a modest yet sophisticated silhouette, perfectly suited for the traditional Christian ceremony. The solid white corset gown was overlayed with sheer lace to form a high neckline and fitted long sleeves. Her wedding gown hugged her frame and led to a flared A-line cut beneath the knees, followed by a circular train right behind her. Lauren thanked her bridal dress designers, saying in her caption, “Not just a gown, a piece of poetry. Thank you @dolcegabbana for the magic you made." The social media-savvy bride also marked the new chapter in her life with her freshly-minted name and new handle on Instagram; which now reads 'Lauren Sanchez Bezos'.
Her hair was pinned up in a tousled updo hairstyle with a naturally radiant makeup look of pink lips, fluttery lashes and rosy cheeks, framed ethereally by her traditional white veil draped over her head which merged seamlessly with her bridal train behind her.
Jeff Bezos too picked the traditional silhouette for a groom in a black tuxedo that featured a white shirt and black bow tie with glossy black brogues.
The newlyweds cut an elegant figure for their wedding day with styles that were understated yet chic and modest for the traditional Christian wedding ceremony.
