The world of luxury and lifestyle is buzzing with fresh energy, and India is right at the centre of it—emerging as one of the most exciting playgrounds for both global icons and homegrown talent. From couture to cosmetics, the period has seen an influx of new store launches, international brand entries, and Indian designers expanding their presence, together shaping a luxury market that is more dynamic, inclusive, and experience-driven than ever before.

DELHI

The Lodhi New Delhi has been honoured with the prestigious One Michelin Key, placing it among the world’s most exceptional hotels for its distinctive blend of design, service, and heartfelt hospitality. With private plunge pool suites, holistic wellness at The Lodhi Spa and Hammam, and renowned restaurants like Perbacco and Elan, it embodies luxury that is both personal and deeply Indian in essence.

India’s biggest celebration of cocktail culture will kick off its 6th season in Delhi NCR as the first stop before it stirs up other metro cities. A carefully curated week packed with a mixology of unique cocktails, international spirit brands, bar takeovers, gourmet pop-ups and industry-led workshops, ICW will kick off its week-long celebration with the ICW Kick Off Party at No Vacancy. Like every year, an exciting lineup of artists will feature Peter Cat Recording Co., LA-based DJ producer Habibeats, and Nash, among others. Over 25+ premium spirit brands, including Absolut, Bacardí, Black & White, Bombay Sapphire, Don Julio, Jack Daniel's, Jameson, Jim Beam, Johnnie Walker Blonde, Monkey Shoulder, Patrón, Pistola, Mikiamo Roku Gin and Tanqueray will be participating in pop-ups with some of the world's leading mixologists at multiple bar takeovers. 

The countdown to Nykaaland 2025 has begun, with the Indian beauty-meets-music festival set to return from November 7 to 9, 2025 at NSIC Grounds, Okhla. Joining the lineup this year are Rasha Thadani, brand ambassador for Nykaa Cosmetics, and Taapsee Pannu, brand ambassador for Swiss Beauty. While Rasha brings her playful, trendsetting charm to the celebration, Taapsee adds her signature fearless glam to the mix.

Jashn-e-Rekhta 2025 marks a milestone as it celebrates a decade of Urdu’s grandest festival. Returning to New Delhi’s Baansera Park from December 5 to 7, 2025, the 10th edition brings together over 300 artists and 35 sessions across five stages. Honouring the timeless beauty of Urdu, the festival continues to unite poets, writers, musicians, and cultural icons from around the world.

MUMBAI

The brand formerly known as Moonray has transformed into Chorus; a multidisciplinary atelier in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda. Encompassing multiple verticals, from ready-to-wear and couture to concept design, wellness, and a café, Chorus redefines contemporary luxury through craftsmanship, creativity, and cultural continuity.

Bombay Shirt Company has unveiled The Den, its new flagship store at Kemp’s Corner, Mumbai — a one-of-a-kind lifestyle destination that reimagines the modern menswear shopping experience. Blending craftsmanship with comfort, the space goes beyond retail to offer Subko Coffee & Bakes, bespoke grooming services, a Trumpet Shoes custom-design station, and even a signature ice cream bar. Marking the brand’s evolution from a custom shirting label to a full wardrobe and lifestyle hub, The Den reflects founder Akshay Narvekar’s vision of creating a space where style meets experience.

Menswear label The Bear House has opened a new 1,000 sq ft store at Palladium Mall, Lower Parel; its second exclusive outlet in Mumbai after Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla. With a notable appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4, The Bear House continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s leading modern menswear brands.

KALKI Fashion marks a milestone with the opening of its 6,000 sq. ft. flagship store in Mumbai’s iconic Kala Ghoda district. Set within a restored heritage building, the store preserves its classic façade while unveiling sleek interiors. Designed like a gallery, the flagship features dedicated couture zones for bridalwear, occasionwear, and menswear, offering an immersive and curated shopping experience.

Armani Beauty has unveiled its flagship boutique at Phoenix Palladium Mall in Mumbai, marking a significant milestone for the brand in India. The store offers the complete Armani Beauty universe, spanning makeup, skincare, and fragrance. To celebrate its launch and the festive season, Armani Beauty debuted its first-ever Diwali campaign in India, inspired by the marigold, to reflect the brand’s elegance and festive spirit.

The horology world is making big headlines in Mumbai. Grand Seiko, the esteemed Japanese luxury watchmaker, has opened its first exclusive salon in Mumbai at Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel. Designed around the Japanese philosophy of Takumi, the space offers collectors an intimate showcase of Grand Seiko’s iconic Spring Drive, Mechanical, and Quartz timepieces.

The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) brings the piano into the spotlight with Keys to Joy, a genre-spanning concert at the Tata Theatre on November 1, 2025. Showcasing seven of India’s most dynamic pianists — Anurag Naidu, Gulraj Singh, Rahul Wadhwani, Archit Kadam, Swarrang Mulekar, Mantra Upadhyay, and Ayaan Deshpande — the evening journeys through jazz, funk, soul, and pop.

Breitling has announced the opening of its first boutique in Mumbai, located in Churchgate, expanding its retail network to seven boutiques across the country. The new 1300 square feet boutique in Mumbai is the latest retail space designed to incorporate the brand’s impressive heritage in a modern industrial loft aesthetic, creating a relaxed retail experience. This corner-style boutique brings to life Breitling’s modern-retro design values through vintage decor and artwork.

Set high above the city skyline, Bombay Swim Club, which is Mumbai’s first rooftop day club, has arrived. The 'Japan-meets-Jalisco' atmosphere in a vibrant blend of culture, cuisine, and cocktails is a destination where the sun, style, and spirit come together for an all-day experience unlike any other. From 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, guests can lap, laze, and lounge—each pool offering a different mood.

Reliance Retail’s fashion-forward brand, AZORTE, continues its Mumbai expansion with new stores at Phoenix Marketcity and R City Mall. Della Townships has partnered with Austria’s renowned medical wellness brand MAYRLIFE to introduce European Mayr-based longevity and wellness science to India for the first time. Signed by Della’s Founder, Jimmy Mistry and MAYRLIFE’s CEOs Natascha Sommerer and Dr. Dieter Resch, this marks MAYRLIFE’s first venture outside Austria. Indian fashion powerhouse, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, welcomes his opulent maximal store in Bengaluru after a successful run in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and New York. An experience of maximalist luxury comes to this new address, housed at the Leela Palace Collonade in a 3,800 square feet large boutique. Goa’s nightlife gets a wild new beat with the launch of Lizard King Brewing Co., opening on 26 October, 2025. Yas Island will be turned upside down this November with the debut of Stranger Things: The Experience, marking the first time the global phenomenon arrives in the Middle East. Opening on November 14, the immersive attraction brings Hawkins, Indiana, to life through cinematic sets, live actors, and special effects that transport visitors into the heart of the hit Netflix series. Ahead of the show’s much-awaited final season, the experience promises fans a chance to step directly into the world of Stranger Things like never before.

Celebrated Indian fashion designer Anita Dongre takes another bold step in her global journey with the opening of her 3000 sq. ft. flagship store in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. With this launch, Dongre becomes the first Indian designer to open a flagship in Beverly Hills, marking her fourth international store after New York City and The Dubai Mall, a true testament to her vision of taking India to the world.
