Princess Diana's nieces stole the spotlight at the Summer Serpentine Party 2025

Each year, London's reputed art gallery, Serpentine hosts the Summer Serpentine Party; an invitation-only fundraiser that brings together lovers of art, culture, fashion, business and technology. This year, Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett played co-host for the party as a cultural representative at the event. 

Blanchett is the first solo artist to be the co-host in the party's 25-year history, alongside Michael R. Bloomberg, Chairman of Serpentine’s Board of Trustees, Bettina Korek, the CEO of Serpentine and Hans Ulrich Obrist, Artistic Director of Serpentine. The party celebrated the 2025 Serpentine Architecture Pavilion designed by Bangladeshi architect Marina Tabassum.

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, a Dior brand ambassador, was one of the many esteemed guests in attendance. Some of the other guests included Princess Diana's nieces; Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer, host of internet's favourite Chicken Shop Date segment, Amelia Dimoldenberg; Baby Driver actress, Eiza González, model and relative of the British royal family, Lady Amelia Windsor, American singer, Will.i.am and more.  

Lady Kitty Spencer 

Lady Kitty Spencer is the eldest child of the late Princess Diana's younger brother, Charles Spencer. She attended the Serpentine Summer event in a dress that reminded us of Lady Diana. Kitty wore a turquoise Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda gown that bore a striking resemblance to one worn by the late Princess of Wales at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival; an icy blue tulle gown by Catherine Walker.  

Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer

Princess Diana's twin nieces, Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer, coordinating in scarlet-hued dresses reportedly designed by Indian couturier Anamika Khanna, demanded the crowd's attention. 

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor debuted not one, but two stunning haute couture looks at the Summer Serpentine Party. The Indian fashionista has always been known for her aspirational style and has been a fashion favourite. Her first look featured a Dior Kimono, fresh off the runway from the house's 2025 Fall collection, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri herself. 

Her second look for the day was by Sarah Burton’s debut collection for Givenchy for the after-party. She donned an oversized butter-yellow leather blazer dress with a plunging neckline and sharply tailored full sleeves. She paired her look with a sleek black bralette and amped up the drama with a sculptural black leather neck wrap.

Cate Blanchett 

Cate Blanchett wore a sculptural oceanic design, courtesy of Dilara Fındıkoğlu for the 2025 Serpentine Summer Party. The dress featured a fitted bodice with a corset-like structure featuring plenty of seashells.

Eiza González

Mexican actress Eiza González looked like a vision in a body-hugging bias silk and hand-painted gold leaf gown by Harris Reed. 

Amelia Dimoldenberg
