The Princess of Wales has had a busy week, filled with festive fervour. Princess Kate returned to the 'Order of the Garter' event this year, after having to skip the event in 2024 when she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy and announced that she was taking a break from royal duties. After a successful treatment, the princess made a return to the festivities in a chic white dress. Her most recent appearance was the Garter service earlier in the day, held at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. The dreamy white dress worn by her was a perfect summer pick and has even been a frequent pick from the princess's wardrobe. Recently, Kate picked the same dress for the 80th anniversary VE Day concert in May 2025 but before that, to the Platinum Jubilee Party in 2022.

When Kate styled the Self-Portrait dress in 2024, it featured a jacket with a bouclé belt layered over a pleated midi skirt. The skirt has two layers with a delicate sheer top layer with intricate floral lace decorating the scalloped-bottom hem. Kate paired the dress with a slanted, wide hat in a matching shade that featured a bow decorating the top. She carried an eggshell-coloured clutch and completed the look with suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

The Princess of Wales accessorised her look with a stack of pearl necklaces and cluster pearl earrings from Susan Kaplan. She opted for a simple nude lip and minimal makeup to complete the look. The statement piece is one-of-a-kind and is a masterclass in dressing elegantly.

Last weekend, Kate made another fashion statement while attending the 2025 Trooping The Colour event in a bright blue ensemble. She wore a Catherine Walker coat dress constructed of aquamarine fabric bordered in white with an asymmetrical white lapel. She paired her dress with a matching hat by Juliette Botterill Millinery that was in a similar shade of blue. She accessorised her look by turning to the late Queen Elizabeth’s trinket box for a pair of pearl drop earrings.

While travelling in the carriage alongside Princess Kate, Princess Charlotte had a matching moment with her mum as she wore a pastel blue dress and blue dress. The mother-and-daughter pair looked radiant while attending the ceremonies.
