From Britain to Brunei, aristocrats from around the world attended Wimbledon 2025

As Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner went head-to-head for the Grand Slam title, the world at large watched, including global royalty. The royal box at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club was filled with dignitaries and aristocrats from across the world. The Prince and Princess of Wales were in attendance with their three children. Other royalty from across the UK also joined them to partake in the exciting finale.  

Wimbledon has; for years, been an important event for British royalty and for the very same reason, a royal box for them has been established on the grounds. 

1. Princess Kate, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte

Kate middleton made her first appearance at Wimbledon 2025 dressed in a cream-coloured pleated skirt by Self-Portrait with matching Italian-style suede shoes for the Women's singles finale between American tennis star Amanda Anisimova and Poland's Iga Światek. Światek took home the trophy as presented by the princess.

For the finale between Alcaraz and Sinner, Kate walked into the royal box with her husband and two children: Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, who sat along with Kate, to enjoy the match. For the occasion, the Princess of Wales wore a bright blue dress with a V-neckline and bow on the shoulder that was a perfect pick for London's summer. 

Prince William made a royal comeback at the Wimbledon games; he opted for a pair of white linen pants and a navy blue blazer with a blue and white polka dot tie to attend the tennis event. He was seen being accompanied by his eldest son, Prince George. The pair's youngest child, Prince Louis, was absent from the festivities. 

2. Princess Beatrice and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York

Princess Beatrice, along with her mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, was among the first of the royals to attend the Wimbledon tournament this year.  Beatrice chose a crisp cotton blouse and coordinated skirt from the French label Sandro. Meanwhile, the Duchess of York went for a bold floral style, dressed in a bright green Me+Em midi dress with keyhole detail. 

3. Queen Camilla 

In a surprise appearance made by her, Queen Camilla attended the quarter-final match between Belinda Bencic and Mirra Andreeva dressed in a colourful animal-print shirt dress from Fiona Clare. 

4. Lady Amelia Windsor

Lady Amelia Windsor, the granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, was seen attending Wimbledon in a chic black polka dot midi dress and wedges. 

5. Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh

The Duchess of Edinburgh had arrived at Wimbledon for day 8 dressed in a navy blue maxi dress with a blazer thrown over it. 

6. Prince Mateen of Brunei

Prince Mateen and Princess Anisha of Brunei royalty were spotted at the Wimbledon tournament. He is the 10th child and 4th son of the Sultan of Brunei, making him the sixth in line of succession. 

7. King Felipe of Spain

To cheer on the Spanish finalist, Carlos Alvaraz, the King of Spain, King Felipe, was in attendance at the royal box during the gentlemen singles finals.

Throughout the 14 days, the Wimbledon tournament saw many celebrated faces in and out of its stands. Many of them were British royalty and some of them are from other parts of the world, like Spain and Brunei.
