Mom-to-be Kiara Advani is set to make her Met Gala debut in 2025

Kiara Advani is making headlines and for good reason. The star, who recently announced the news of her pregnancy, is ready to make her Met Gala debut this year. The annual Met Gala exhibit is upon us and the theme of the year is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” As always, the Met Gala will celebrate the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's spring exhibition, which will focus on the political and aesthetic constructs of Black dandyism this year. As a popular Bollywood fashion icon, expect nothing less than a glamorously tailored androgynous ensemble for the gala, perhaps one that lets her soon-to-be debuted baby bump be the focal point of her attire. 

It's only fair for the world's most influential men of colour to be at the forefront of this year's gala. The Met Gala 2025 will be hosted by Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour alongside honorary chair Lebron James, in an epic line-up of stars all set to commemorate the occasion. 

Bollywood's influence is growing at an exponential speed on the world stage. At international red carpets, it isn't rare to see Bollywood celebs walk down them like it's their personal runway. Although Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt have set the wheels of motion as far as that's concerned, Kiara Advani is no stranger to that feat either, by the way. In 2024, she made her debut on the Cannes red carpet where she represented India at the Red Sea Film Foundation's Women in Cinema Gala dinner. Her debut for the esteemed film festival was magnificently chic. 

For the main event, she preferred a classic Hollywood vibe in a strapless gown with a form-fitting blush pink satin corset, flowing into a black velvet skirt which she paired with black lace gloves. A safe fashion entry to go the classic route for a prestigious red carpet, but for Kiara Advani, it certainly paid off when she styled it with a top bun hairstyle and fresh, dewy makeup. 

To match the balmy French Riviera's coastal aesthetic, she picked a white flowy dress for one event and a ruched peach number for another. With the sun shining, and the weather sweet, Kiara Advani left no stone unturned to make for a memorable, not to forget stylish, debut. 

We bet the Don 3 star is gearing up for a memory of a lifetime. Only time will tell how Kiara Advani spins this momentous opportunity into her most stylish one yet.
