After months of chasing the rumour mill, Samantha Ruth Prabhu confirmed her relationship with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru with a post on Instagram revealing their intimate wedding ceremony, which took place on December 1. The venue, the serene Linga Bhairava Temple at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, paid witness to their union in the midst of 30 close friends and family in attendance. Samantha has been vocal about her mental health and her spiritual journey associated with this Centre, and it makes for a significant choice of venue to begin this phase in her life.

In keeping with the spiritual ambience of the setting, Samantha chose a striking red traditional saree for the occasion. The saree adorned with an embroidered golden border strikes the perfect balance with her traditional gold jewellery. The bright red saree, paired with gold jewellery, was elevated further with a sleek bun adorned with a gajra. Raj, on the other hand, kept it classic in an off-white kurta-pyjama paired with an embroidered beige Nehru-collared waistcoat. Although we're yet to confirm the details of the ring, the distinctive shape implies it holds a special significance to the couple and to the occasion.

This wedding marks a new chapter in Samantha’s life, after her earlier marriage to actor Naga Chaitanya ended in divorce in 2021. The suggestion of a traditional red saree and a small, spiritual ceremony gives the union a charming sense of calm and sanctity — quite different from the grandeur often associated with celebrity weddings.
