
2025 has seen major advancements in celebrity relationships across the world; nearly every it girl or boy crush is either engaged or in a committed relationship. There's a change in the relationship sphere as today, celebrity couples are less about sneaking around and more about flaunting their love for the world to see. From social media to red carpets, celebrities are now choosing every platform to hard launch their relationships. While paparazzi images and the rumour mill are still doing their best to give us early glimpses of celebrity love stories—with Tom Cruise and Ana De Armas roaming hand-in-hand and Billie EIlish and Nat Wolff locking lips publicly—many are no longer playing a guessing game with their fans and are instead, making their private lives public.

1. Social media snippets
This weekend, Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya, son of a Mumbai-based businessman, made their love Instagram official when the 29-year-old actress posted a carousel of images for Ganesh Chathurti, in which her rumoured boyfriend was featured.
This comes a week after the former One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson, made it official with Love Island alum Zara McDermott. Earlier this year, Gigi Hadid also hard-launched her relationship in a similar manner when she posted a photo of her and actor Bradley Cooper, locking lips at the model's 30th birthday party. On this side of the pond, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was recently seen holding hands with a mystery man in a post shared by her on Instagram.
2. Red carpets razzle-dazzle
While certain couples rely on social media to change their relationship status, celebrities such as Kaia Gerber and Lewis Pullman rely on steamy moments on the red carpet to make a statement. The 23-year-old model-slash-actress was photographed in a steamy lip lock with her 32-year-old beau, best known for his role in Marvel's Thunderbolts, on the Venice Film Festival 2025 red carpet.
This is hardly the first time has hard-launched their relationship on the red carpet. Earlier this year, Zendaya hard-launched her engagement to Tom Holland at the Golden Globes, not long after Dua Lipa walked the Met Gala red carpet with her then-secret fiance, Callum Turner. Megan Thee Stallion and her boyfriend, Klay Thompson, also made their relationship red carpet official this year in July while attending the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in new York City.

3. In sporty style
While film festivals and fashion galas are one way to let the world know about your latest love, A Complete Unknown actress Monica Barbaro and The Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield, chose Wimbledon to announce their relationship. The couple watched the match between Sonay Kartal and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on day seven of the 2025 Wimbledon Championships in London together while sharing sweet PDA moments throughout.
Other couples who used a sport event as the venue of their relationship hard launch include Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, as the 35-year-old singer was cheering on her then-boyfriend from the bleachers. Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were first seen publicly together at the U.S. Open's men finale in September of 2023. Further taking romance to the court side was Simone Ashley, who was seen locking lips last with a 'mystery man', at the U.S. Open in Queens, New York.
