The easiest way to look chic in 2026 isn't a designer handbag or a statement shoe—it's a scarf. From whimsical prints and vibrant colours to intricate embellishments, this versatile accessory offers a stylish statement for every personality and occasion. Once worn as the classic silk scarf over a perfectly blow-dried hairstyle in the '90s, it has evolved far beyond its traditional role. Today, Bollywood can't get enough of it. From tennis courts to the streets of Paris, the scarf has become the accessory of the season.

Bollywood's OG style icon, Kareena Kapoor Khan, continues to prove why she remains a fashion favourite. The actress was spotted enjoying a beach holiday with her husband, wearing a printed bandana as a head covering. Kareena has often showcased her love for the bandana trend, both on vacation and around Mumbai. Paired with a red bikini and a striped cover-up, the scarf perfectly complemented her holiday aesthetic while also protecting her from the sun and wind.

Wimbledon, the elegant way

Wimbledon fashion is synonymous with quiet luxury and timeless elegance, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas delivered exactly that. The actress was recently spotted at Wimbledon wearing a cream silk scarf with a floral motif that perfectly complemented her unreleased Dior dress. The accessory added a classic European summer touch to the ensemble. While a headscarf can be styled in many ways, Priyanka opted for a bohemian, 1980s-inspired look, leaving her hair loose for an effortless finish.

Ananya Panday embraced Paris with a colourful twist, turning to bright, patterned bandanas to add a playful pop of colour to her classic outfits. Worn as a headscarf, the accessory became the focal point of her lace camisole and all-white ensemble while lending it an unmistakably Parisian flair. She completed the look with a tweed Chanel bag and classic black sunglasses, letting the bandana take centre stage.
