Karisma Kapoor has been the baddie of Bollywood since the 90s. She channels desi glam in movies like Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Biwi No. 1 and Raja Hindustani, which sets goals even today, decades after the movies released. When it comes to her personal style, she never disappoints because she styles a saree like nobody's business. Karisma doesn't do plain or boring, which is evident by her plethora of saree styling looks that feature pieces like multiple silhouettes, detailed embroidery, capes, jackets and blazers that make them edgier. From a Manish Malhotra piece to a Sabyasachi number, Karisma's saree styling game is goals. On her 51st birthday, scroll below to take a look at 7 of her best saree looks that has us hooked.

Hands down, this has to be one of the best Karima Kapoor saree looks, that's not even a saree. This creation by Amit Aggarwal, inspired by the traditional saree, featured a pre-draped silk skirt paired with a corded embroidered polymer top with shell-like designs. Kapoor accessorised the saree with a pair of diamond danglers and a chunky diamond bracelet.

2. Cape and saree by Sabyasachi

Kapoor looked the definition of elegance in a black and gold Sabyasachi saree while carrying their signature clutch for the opening night of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre at the Jio World Centre in March 2023. The saree featured a painterly floral design along with a black border that she paired with a full-sleeved blouse. However, the real showstopper was the ebony cape; complete with geometric motifs and tassels at the hem.

3. Red saree with jacket by Manish Malhotra

Karisma Kapoor once opted for a hot red saree by couturier Manish Malhotra. The saree featured a shimmering red blazer embroidered with red sequins. She paired the outfit with an emerald and diamond neckpiece.

4. Corseted belt saree by Shantnu Nikhil

Karisma Kapoor's pearled ivory and obsidian cocktail saree, by the designer duo Shantnu & Nikhil, was cinched with a corset inspired by baroque architecture. The designer duo described the saree as a "pearled ivory and obsidian colour-blocked cocktail saree, detailed with cherry rouge accents and paired with a precision-cut Château Corset inspired by baroque architecture. An unapologetic blend of structure and fluidity."  Apart from the corset-belt, the pop of cherry colour on the saree was eye-catching. She accessorised her Shantnu & Nikhil saree minimally with a pair of silver earrings.

5. Saree by Jade by Monica and Karishma
