Brad Pitt is a busy man these days. Between promoting his new film, finalising his divorce with Angelina Jolie and announcing his relationship with his new girlfriend to the world, the Hollywood giant has a lot going on. But even his busy schedule isn't coming between serving style moments. The Fight Club-famed star stepped out in a Tangaliya shirt by the Indian homegrown fashion label 11.11/Eleven Eleven to film his upcoming film F1, which will hit screens later this June 2025.

The Tangaliya shirt is made using an ancient style of weaving, which requires plenty of intricate work. Tangaliya is also known as daana weaving, which is a 700-year-old craft form originating from the Surendranagar district of Gujarat in India. The term 'tangaliya' comes from the Gujarati word 'tangalio', which means 'lower body' and refers to the traditional use of the woven cloth as a lower body garment for women of the Bharwaad shepherd community. Each bead or dana, lends itself to create the motif, which is seen clearly on both sides of the fabric.

Colours are knotted around the yarns of the fabric during the weaving process to create embossed bead-like patterns. The original raw material for the weave was gheta wool. Now, merino wool and silk, as well as less expensive materials such as acrylic, viscose and cotton, are being used. At 11.11/eleven eleven, the Tangaliya fabric is made of indigenous organic cotton or kala cotton, hand-spun on a portable charka called peti charka. The motifs are inspired by traditional motifs derived from everyday elements of use; such as water, wells, etc.

The Formula 1 (F1) film, actor Pitt was seen wearing this shirt in one of the 'behind-the-scenes' shots of the film as shared by the movie's costume designer, Julian Day. The movie follows Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, who is Formula 1's most promising driver, until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Post his accident, Hayes left the high-octane world of F1. Thirty years later, the owner of a struggling Formula 1 team convinces Sonny to return to racing. The film follows his journey back to the track.

The star cast joining Pitt in the movie includes Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem and Simone Ashley. The best part about the movie is that it will feature many real F1 racers, such as Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz, Oscar Piastri and more, in the film.
