Kiara Advani's lookbook from 'Aavan Jaavan' was made for an Italian summer

Oh, the feeling of an Italian summer fresh on the tip of the tongue! That's how we spent our time in the Italian countryside. Although vicariously through the Kiara Advani and Hrithik Roshan starrer, War 2's latest song, Aavan Jaavan, but one we can get behind. The song reminds us of a balmy afternoon - one where you may catch us strolling through the streets of Rome, with a glimpse of the Trevi in the backdrop and hopefully not without a glass of vino in hand. If there is one thing this new Bollywood mama has been able to achieve with this song, though, it would be a holiday wardrobe fit for an Italian soiree, even if remotely away from one in physicality. 

In a recent Instagram post, she gave us a glimpse of the BTS of the song and let's just say the styling speaks of her ability to make anything look luxe and beautiful. Kudos to Anaita Shroff Adajania, the reason responsible for our one-way ticket to Italy, without the visa and through a very stylish Kiara Advani. 

Golden hours are rivalled with a chic Dolce and Gabbana co-ord set in the label's signature baroque print in the first look shared by the Bollywood actress. The off-shoulder top, the high-waisted shorts, the matching hairband, golden shoulder-dusters and stacked golden bracelets, and Kiara's charm do justice to this summer outfit perfectly. What spells luxurious Italian style louder than Dolce and Gabbana after all?

Given the nautical vibe that blue, white, red and gingham provide, Kiara Advani in her next look is right on track. She pairs a knotted blue and white gingham off-shoulder top from Urban Outfitters with red and white towel shorts from the Paris-based brand La Veste. The perfectly styled summer outfit is topped with slinky gold jewellery to round it all off. 

If you have ever had the vague thought of switching up your swimsuit for a bodysuit as a casual summer outfit, now is the time to do it. What you imagined as a loud thought, Kiara Advani was able to achieve with the help of her styling team in a cutout printed Billabong swimsuit paired with an embroidered skirt from Zara. She ditched the halter straps of the swimsuit to make it a bandeau-style top tucked into the skirt. Genius at play here! The outfit is accessorised with chunky stacked bracelets, star earrings and large, yellow-tinted round sunglasses for a part retro, part metro and fully chic outfit.
