Dressing for a concert is more tricky than it seems. Why? Because they require one to up their fashion A-game without compromising on comfort. Concerts can go on for hours at a time; all while being sweaty, hot and messy, which makes the task of dressing up all the more daunting. To our relief, there are no rules when it comes to concert dressing: flowing dresses, bodysuits, sparkly tops, shorts and skirts are all in; which allows us to experiment while being true to our personal style. But where does one get the best celebrity inspiration for concert dressing? The only right answer is Coachella.

Nothing brings fashion and music together like Coachella does, where we find our favourite singers, celebrities, content creators and models under one roof. Coachella weekend one, that happened over the last weekend, is proof. Green Day, Post Malone, Travis Scott and Lady Gaga were headlining with fan favourites Lisa, Jennie, Kali Uchis, Charli XCX and Megan Thee Stallion performing. These names predictably pulled big crowds and even bigger fashion moments, giving us plenty of ideas to pin to our concert fashion Pinterest boards.

Julia Fox and Charli XCX's relaxed yet stylish fashion moments at Coachella were everything chic that we'd want to step into while attending a concert. Their outfits are summer style-friendly and comfortable enough to keep one going for long hours of the concert. Charli bought her fit together with a chunky belt and structured black shades, while Julia, who is known for her unconventional style, made a fashion statement in a cutout pair of shorts.

South Korea is adored all over the world for their food, dramas and K-pop stars, namely members of bands such as Blackpink. Lisa and Jennie of Blackpink were both present at Coachella. Along with their electrifying performances, they also delivered unforgettable style moments which are going to be our go-to inspiration for this year. Lisa's anime-printed crop top and skirt set and Jennie's cherry red co-ord set with a cape were quintessentially Coachella.

She paired the tank with long, wide black pants and suede sneakers from Dries Van Noten, acing sporty chic vibes, valley-girl style.

The Jenner sisters hopped on the butter yellow trend, leaving us with two unique ways to style ourselves in the colour. Kendall Jenner donned a drop-waist midi dress by Proenza Schouler and her take on this trend is the perfect way to wear this colour throughout bohemian spring. Her entrepreneur sister, Kylie, sported a much flashier way to wear this colour by opting for a latex bodycon dress with a plunging neckline, pairing it with flip-flops. Talk about two types of sisters.

If you want to opt for something bold other than dresses, Tyla's Coachella performance fit is the one to check out. Her sartorial choices screamed grungecore for summer. She paired a golden bra and white tie top with ragged fishnet leggings and a statement belt.
