Roohi Oomerbhoy Jaikishan, Executive Director at RR Oomerbhoy Pvt. Ltd and a fashion savant known for her distinctive eye for aesthetics, curates our annual list this year, bringing her own sense of what makes something worth coveting — and enduringly stylish.
MOST STYLISH WATCH: CARTIER CRASH

Elegance with a dash of outlandish, the Cartier Crash is not just a watch but a cultural icon you happen to wear on your wrist. Its warped, asymmetric dial turns Cartier’s familiar codes on their head, giving the timepiece a mischievous edge. Born in London in 1967, it resembles a classic Cartier Tank left in the sun and then given a ’60s London attitude. Today, decades on, its off-kilter charm still feels wonderfully fresh
MOST STYLISH HANDBAG: DIOR TOUJOURS HOBO

Dior has never been short of great bags. For Autumn/Winter ’27, Jonathan Anderson turned his attention to the Toujours, giving it a softer, more sculptural hobo silhouette. The cannage, CD clasp, and D-I-O-R charms keep the maison’s signatures intact, while the relaxed form feels distinctly of the moment. It has all the makings of a new style icon — one of those arm candies that looks ready to move beyond a season and become part of the fashion conversation.
MOST STYLISH JEWELLERY BRAND: VIREN BHAGAT

At the 2024 Met Gala, Isha Ambani’s Rahul Mishra look came with its own jewellery story: lotus haath pochas, parrot earrings, and a floral choker by Viren Bhagat. It was a very public moment for a jeweller who usually operates rather quietly. Viren’s work is all about proportion, rare stones, and the meeting of Mughal design with Art Deco. His jewels appear in the Al Thani Collection, and the Victoria & Albert Museum has featured his work and documented his design process. What makes Viren Bhagat’s pieces so desirable is the lack of fuss. Sculptural, sophisticated, and rich in detail, they are bold enough to make a statement yet restrained enough to remain elegant
MOST STYLISH PERFUME: CHANEL N°5

The N°5 may have been the very first perfume launched by Coco Chanel back in 1921, but it’s the one that has endured, the lingering floral fragrance unmistakable in any room. The bottle, too, continues to hold its own in a market saturated by the many dupes that followed — the original design boasts a spot in a collection at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Further cementing its spot in both pop culture and style circles is the connect with Marilyn Monroe — in 1952, the icon had famously said she wears the Chanel N°5 to bed, a remark that became part of its mythology. More than a century later, the enigma of the scent persists
MOST STYLISH: SUNGLASSES, MOLITOR IN CAMBON BY JACQUES MARIE MAGE

The Molitor in Cambon is the sort of sunglasses that can carry an entire look. With a cream 10mm acetate frame paired with brown Basalt lenses, exposed classic wirecores and dark-gold hardware, including the signature seven-barrel hinge, the limited-edition pair by Jacques Marie Mage looks as good with a sharp suit as it does with a white T-shirt. The brand has become a favourite among the Hollywood set, with everyone from Brad Pitt and Daniel Craig to Jeremy Strong and Rihanna spotted in their frames. But the real draw here is scarcity: only 50 pieces of the Cambon were produced. That, plus the slightly eccentric shape and creamy colour, make it feel like something you found rather than something everyone else is wearing.
MOST STYLISH SHOES: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN CASSIASTICINA

The ballet flat is having quite the fashion moment, but the Cassiasticina by Christian Louboutin has more going for it than nostalgia. Those crossed straps give the classic ballerina a little attitude, while the lamb nappa and tiny tonal bow keep things sleek. It certainly is pretty, but there is nothing prim about it. The flat has become one of fashion’s favourite shoes again, worn with everything from bare legs to sharp tailoring, and Louboutin’s take has just the right amount of sass. Then, when you walk away, there is that unmistakable flash of red underneath. Enough said!
MOST STYLISH JEWELLERY PIECE: CODOGNATO SNAKE BRACELET

Richard Burton once bought a Codognato Snake Bracelet for his wife, Elizabeth Taylor. But beyond the iconic pop-culture moment, the serpent has had its own style currency. The 18-karat yellow-gold serpent, engraved and set with diamonds and a selection of emeralds, including a cabochon, is pure Codognato — the single-shop Venetian jewellery house whose ornate, macabre memento mori pieces have long attracted a cult following among celebrities. An ancient symbol of eternity, death, and rebirth, the serpent is part of its allure, though it’s the way it seductively sits on the wrist that makes it irresistible. At a time when fine jewellery is being pared back in the name of quiet luxury, the Codognato serpent is glamour with its claws out.
MOST STYLISH FASHION BRAND: THE ROW

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen went from Full House child stars to some of fashion’s most discreet tastemakers with The Row. The clothes are all about restraint — beautiful fabrics, sharp tailoring, and impeccable construction with barely a logo in sight. Its consistency earned the Olsen twins serious industry respect, including the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award in 2015 and American Accessory Designer of the Year in 2025. In a fashion business constantly looking for what comes next, The Row has stayed resolutely itself. And that may be its greatest style statement.
MOST STYLISH STORE: DIOR, 30 MONTAIGNE, PARIS

Something about walking into this grand Haussmannian building makes you slow down. Perhaps it is the history: Christian Dior opened his couture house at 30 Montaigne in Paris in 1946. Or perhaps it is the sheer beauty of the place as it stands today — reimagined by Peter Marino and reopened in 2022, it brings together couture, jewellery, art, beauty, La Galerie Dior, gardens, and dining under one roof. Shopping here is an experience that goes beyond just buying that dream jacket or bag. It is about stepping into the world of the maison, the Cathedral of Dior.
MOST STYLISH HOME DÉCOR BRAND: RALPH LAUREN HOME

Think English manor meets East Coast country club. Dark woods, leather, tartan, polished brass, and crisp white linen. This aesthetic has appeared everywhere from Ralph Lauren’s own cinematic campaigns to the homes and sets that have shaped the world’s idea of American glamour. What makes it stylish is its refusal to chase trends. Launched in 1983, Ralph Lauren Home was the first complete home collection from a fashion designer. Four decades on, it still looks unmistakably Ralph Lauren — oozing old-school glamour, comfort, and lived-in luxury
MOST STYLISH BAR: BAR HEMINGWAY, THE RITZ PARIS

It’s one of the world’s most stylish bars precisely because it has never had to try too hard. Hemingway made The Ritz Paris his base in the city from the 1920s, drinking at the bar with friends including F Scott Fitzgerald. The bar took his name in 1979 and was revived by Colin Field in 1994. Today, the 25-seat room remains wonderfully intimate, with dark wood, leather, sepia lighting, handwritten letters, and the writer’s belongings. It is Old Paris at its most seductive — a little eccentric, steeped in stories, and blissfully removed from the noise outside.
MOST STYLISH CAFÉ: MARCHESI 1824 – MONTENAPOLEONE GALLERIA, MILAN

A nearly 200-year-old Milanese pastry institution, Marchesi 1824 was acquired by Prada in 2014, bringing together two of the city’s great traditions: pastry and fashion. Its Montenapoleone Galleria outpost is a pastry shop dipped in elegance, from its polished interiors to the exquisite chocolates and cakes behind the glass. Considered one of Milan’s finest addresses for traditional Italian confections, it is also the kind of place to linger over coffee, watch the city’s stylish crowd pass by, and savour a little dolce vita.
MOST STYLISH NIGHTCLUB: DELILAH, LAS VEGAS

Opened at Wynn Las Vegas in July 2021, Delilah brought back the city’s old-school glamour: showgirls, supper clubs, brass palms, and nights when getting dressed for a dinner was part of the ritual. The entrance sets the tone, with Art Deco-inspired marquetry doors leading to the Little Bubble Bar, replete with vintage Hermès upholstery and Champagne-bubble chandeliers. The interiors borrow from 1950s Vegas showrooms, Hollywood Regency, Cubism, and Streamline Moderne. Then there’s the no-photography policy. In a city built around spectacle, Delilah makes a convincing case for keeping the best bits discreet — the room is made to be seen, the crowd is famous, but the night stays off the ’Gram. This assurance of privacy is a huge part of Delilah’s allure.
MOST STYLISH RESTAURANT: POLLINI, LONDON

If London’s art crowd were throwing a dinner party, it might well be at Pollini. The restaurant inside Ladbroke Hall occupies what served as the Sunbeam Talbot Motor Factory in the early 20th century. It’s now a cultural space beneath a soaring 14-metre vaulted ceiling. Christopher Le Brun’s paintings hang on the walls. Nacho Carbonell’s enormous Cocoon chandelier takes centre stage. Vincenzo de Cotiis designed the interiors. Italian chef Emanuele Pollini is behind the food. It won ‘Best Restaurant’ at the 2024 Wallpaper Design Awards and has since picked up recognition from Gambero Rosso and 50 Top Italy. Dinner here certainly comes with quite a backdrop
MOST STYLISH PRIVATE MEMBERS’ CLUB: ANNABEL'S, LONDON

Lady Gaga performing at Annabel’s is perhaps the most Annabel’s thing imaginable. Opened by Mark Birley in 1963, it has long attracted London’s most glamorous mix of society, music, and fashion. Grace Jones once hula-hooped across its dance floor. The Queen came for a drink. The Beatles were turned away for not meeting the dress code! In fact, Birley was famously particular about how people dressed, and the club’s dress code became part of its mythology. When Annabel’s moved to 46 Berkeley Square in 2018, Martin Brudnizki turned the new Georgian townhouse into an exercise in unabashed maximalism replete with hand-painted murals, de Gournay wallpaper, Murano glass, gilding, florals, and a powder room with pink onyx basins and gold swan taps. Annabel’s does not subscribe to the modern luxury rulebook of whispering, minimalism and carefully considered restraint. It likes colour. It likes drama. It likes a woman in an extraordinary dress walking through the door and giving the room something to compete with.
MOST STYLISH BEACH CLUB: LA CABANE, MARBELLA

La Cabane has been part of Marbella’s jet-set mythology since 1965, with the likes of Michael Jackson, Sean Connery, Elton John, and Julio Iglesias gracing its guest lists. But this year, Dolce&Gabbana has given the old-school address a distinctly fashion-world edge with a Blu Mediterraneo treatment, bringing its blue-and-white palette and exuberant Sicilian Carretto motifs to the space, from the interiors to the desserts. The house's latest ready-to-wear, alongside bags, shoes, jewellery, watches, sunglasses, and fragrances, round out the offerings at the dedicated pop-up, teamed with one-to-one styling and personal tailoring.
MOST STYLISH SHOPPING DESTINATION: MONACO

Grace Kelly made Monaco glamorous; fashion has simply kept the tradition alive. At One Monte-Carlo, Dior, Fendi, Chanel, and Cartier sit among sleek architecture and great places for a post-shopping coffee. The old guard — Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, and Graff — gathers around the Carré d’Or, the city-state’s most luxurious district. And for a dose of classic polish, there’s the Métropole. Think marble, chandeliers, and serious window-shopping. Monaco does glamour rather well.
MOST STYLISH INTERNATIONAL DESTINATION: KYOTO, JAPAN

Kyoto is the anti-Dubai. Nothing glitters, nothing shouts. Yet, few places feel more luxurious. Think Lost in Translation but with better tea and considerably better ceramics. A ryokan, a hand-thrown chawan, a kaiseki dinner where every course arrives with its own quiet precision… Kyoto has spent centuries perfecting the art of restraint. Then November arrives, the maples turn crimson and gold, and the temples seem to get dressed for the season.
MOST STYLISH DESTINATION IN INDIA: UDAIPUR

James Bond got there before the wedding planners. Octopussy, released in 1983, turned Udaipur into a Hollywood set, with Lake Pichola, the Lake Palace, Jag Mandir and, Monsoon Palace all appearing in the film. Four decades on, the city has lost none of its pull. White marble catches the afternoon sun; temple bells drift across the water; by dusk, the Aravallis turn blue, and the palace lights begin to shimmer on the lake. This combination of royal architecture, old-world hospitality, and sheer visual drama has made Udaipur a favourite for fashion shoots, film productions, celebrity weddings, and the luxury crowd. It is easy to imagine the final shot: the city shimmering against the dark Aravallis, and its palaces catching the light like sequins on a saree, with Lake Pichola below as its ink-blue border, trailing away into the night with the last boat.
MOST STYLISH PALACE HOTEL: ROYAL MANSOUR MARRAKECH

Royal Mansour Marrakech has never really subscribed to the idea that luxury should be discreet. Conceived by King Mohammed VI and opened in 2010, it was built by around 1,200 Moroccan artisans and takes the form of a small city of 53 individual riads (private three-storey houses) studded in Moroccan craftsmanship. There is nothing quiet about the interiors: Zellige mosaics, carved plaster, painted ceilings, rich textiles, and elaborate metalwork are layered together without much concern for restraint. Even the architecture has a sense of theatre. You disappear into a passageway, emerge into a courtyard, climb a staircase, and suddenly find yourself on a rooftop — all make simply walking to your room feel oddly glamorous. Here, style isn’t about knowing when to stop but about knowing when to add another pattern, another colour, another chandelier.
MOST STYLISH SUITE: THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE, HOTEL PRINCIPE DI SAVOIA, MILAN

The Presidential Suite at Milan’s Hotel Principe di Savoia does glamour the old-fashioned way. Across 500 sqm, antique furniture sits alongside Venetian mirrors, marble, and Murano glass, while three bedrooms open onto a terrace overlooking the city. Then comes the private Pompeii-style spa and swimming pool, with frescoes and mosaics giving it the air of a Roman villa. Queen Elizabeth II, Madonna, Mick Jagger, and Michael Jackson have stayed here, while Sofia Coppola filmed its pool for Somewhere. George Clooney is believed to have even played bocce on its marble floor. It feels less like a hotel suite than a scene waiting to happen… Milan glittering beyond the terrace, marble underfoot, and a private pool worthy of its own closing shot!
MOST STYLISH SPIRIT: THE MACALLAN

James Bond ordering The Macallan in Skyfall was perhaps the perfect casting. The Speyside whisky has always had a certain polish about it — rich, quietly extravagant, and instantly recognisable. Founded in 1824, The Macallan has built its reputation on sherry-seasoned oak casks and painstaking craftsmanship, but its appeal today goes beyond the spirit. Its sculptural bottles, rare releases, and artful collaborations have given it a place in the wider world of luxury. Nearly two centuries on, it remains a whisky with serious style.
MOST STYLISH CAR: PORSCHE 911

From Steve McQueen’s Le Mans to the walls of generations of autophiles, the Porsche 911, with its sloping roof, round headlights, and unmistakable rear haunches, has been a pop-culture fixture since its debut as the 901 in 1963. While every other car seems to want to look new, the 911 has spent six decades becoming more itself. That is confidence. Its rear-engine layout has remained part of its DNA, while the engineering and technology have upgraded with every generation. The shape has evolved, but the character has not. Your grandfather wanted one. Chances are, your kids will, too. The 911 doesn’t go out of style because it was never really chasing it. It simply became the style.
