Aishwarya Rai is all suited up in velvet for the runway at the Paris Fashion Week

Aishwarya Rai's recent appearance at Paris Fashion Week for L’Oréal Paris once again affirmed why her influence in fashion and beauty remains unmatched across generations. The brand veteran returned to the fashion capital to walk the ramp for the iconic beauty brand. A true embodiment of confidence, elegance and rare power, there aren't many moments that come as close to the global icon doing it all. 

Ensuring she is always one to make India shine on the global front, she wore a custom Manish Malhotra outfit for the big moment. She ditched the flamboyant silhouettes as worn earlier for former shows for a sleek velvet-embellished Sherwani styled with a pair of velvet trousers embroidered with "Walk your worth" along the side hems. A nod to androgyn but done the Indian way. In addition to the embellished sherwani, she accessorised the outfit with a large statement brooch. As for the makeup and hair, it is Aishwarya Rai after all, and what's a runway moment without her signature red pout and classic wavy hair, swept to the side?
