1.Rameshwaram cafe—Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Games of Thrones-famed Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, a.k.a. Jamie Lannister, was recently spotted at The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. He was spotted enjoying a simple meal of idlis, dosas and more South Indian food at the multi-chain cafe.
2. Torii—Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran, who has visited India multiple times, headed for a meal to Torii in Mumbai. Torii is a progressive Asian restaurant in Bandra, which is owned and designed by interior designer and Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan.
The restaurant features stunning interiors where green and gold dominate most of the decor. Torii focuses mainly on Japanese cuisine, with different kinds of sushi, dumplings, and ramen being the stars of the menu.
3. Yazdani—Gigi Hadid
Yazdani in Mumbai is a quintessentially old school bakery that serves classic 'Bombay' foods such as Bun Maska, Mawa Cake, and Bread Pudding. Capturing the spirit of old Bombay, the cafe serves Parsi-style food and baked goods. When Gigi Hadid visited India, she made a detour to Yazdani bakery for some of their mouth-watering sweet treats.
4. Khyber—Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie visited India to film A Mighty Heart in 2006. The restaurant, Khyber at Kala Ghoda in Mumbai was among one of their frequented restaurants. Khyber is an iconic South Mumbai eatery which has been around for more than 65 years. It serves Indian comfort food, including Paneer Korma and Baigan Bharta, which happened to be one of the dishes Pitt polished off.
5. Veronica's—Dua Lipa and Callum Turner
Dua Lipa visited India in 2024 for a performance that went viral on social media, thanks to her Levitating X Lakhon Sitaare Hai remix on stage. When she wasn't performing, she was enjoying date nights with fiancé Callum Turner at Veronica's in Bandra. A cafe best known for coffee, sandwiches, and cakes, Veronica's has garnered plenty of cred amongst foodies in the city.
6. Farmer's Cafe—Ed Westwick
A celebrity hotspot in Bandra, Farmer's Cafe is a famous eatery where one can run into many renowned faces from Bollywood. Recently, even Hollywood reached its door when Ed Westwick, a.k.a. Gossip Girl's Chuck Bass was snapped outside the cafe with his wife, Amy Jackson.
Farmer's Cafe serves whole foods and consciously tailors their meals for all kinds of diets; from vegan and keto to paleo and low-carb.
8. Koishii—Nick Jonas
Nick Jonas, aka India's jiju, has been a frequent visitor to India ever since he married desi girl, Priyanka Chopra. He was seen dining at the prestigious rooftop restaurant, Koishii at The St. Regis Hotel in Lower Parel.
Koishii is a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Mumbai that is situated in the 37th floor penthouse of The St. Regis Hotel. While the food is a rare mix of cuisines, a magnetic bar and post-industrial-style decor add elements that will make you want to revisit the restaurant, time and again.
