Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are serial date night goers. Despite busy schedules, the couple never miss the chance to spend one-on-one time with special dinners. What’s a good meal without great company, right? At their recent date night, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were spotted in New York City. Chopra wore a bright red dress featuring a bubble skirt, a silhouette that is a polarising topic in fashion circles. Jonas, on the other hand, looked dashing in a loose-fitting grey suit that he paired with white sneakers. They were seen walking hand-in-hand after a meal with Jonas clan at downtown NYC’s hotspot, Emilio’s Ballato. Their sartorial choices were fitting  for the upscale NYC restaurant. But what makes this outing so special? It is the restaurant itself. 

This recent trip for the celebrity couple, although, work-related, definitely had pitstops for delicious culinary experiences that are simply not worth missing out on.

1. Bungalow 

When Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas visited Chef Vikas Khanna’s Bungalow NYC with her daughter Malti Marie for a soulful Indian dining experience. Chef Khanna adorned the restaurant’s glass ceiling in honour of Malti, turning the moment into a heartfelt tribute. Alongside her family, Priyanka's manager and her friends also accompanied her to the restaurant. 

Bungalow is a Michelin-star Indian restaurant by celebrity chef Vikas Khanna that opened its doors in March 2024 in New York’s culinary district. The restaurant has hosted several coveted guests at the restaurant, such as Shah Rukh Khan, Jeff Bezos and Anne Hathaway. This garden-style restaurant, replete with pastel wals covered in plants and creepers, is a recipient of plenty of sunlight thanks to its skylight.

 Dishes titled Paneer Chandni, Banarasi Puri, and Kiss of Kashmir from Chef Vikas Khanna's kitchen are some of the specialities served at Bungalow. 

2. Emilio's Ballato

Recently, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were spotted dining at this hotspot in New York to celebrate the closing of Nick Jonas's Broadway show The Last Five Years. They were joined by Jonas's two brothers, Joe and Kevin, and Kevin's wife, Danielle, and some friends. Emilio’s Ballato is a family-owned Italian restaurant where stars including Rihanna, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have indulged in authentic southern Italian dishes like pasta bolognese and linguine with clams.

The cuisine is served on cheerful plates from the Amalfi Coast, and gorgeous hand-painted olive oil cruets from Positano are placed at each table with a side of saucy fresh bread. Music by artists like Frank Sinatra and Frankie Valli fills the oregano-and-garlic-scented air with an old-school ambiance, making Emilio’s Ballato one of the best eateries in New York. 

3. Harry's Table by Cipriani

Priyanka and Nick were seen spending some quality time at Harry's Table by Cipriani in March this year. This restaurant is a large-scale culinary experience in New York City, offering a taste of Italy through various food and beverage stations. It's inspired by a traditional Italian street market with dedicated areas for coffee, gelato, pizza, pasta, cheese, charcuterie, and more. The venue also features a Bellini bar and event space.  

4. Fish Cheeks

Fish Cheeks is a Thai restaurant in New York City that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas frequently visit for date night spots. Named for the lean, tender cheek meat that is considered the tastiest part of a fish and a delicacy in Asia, the restaurant is located in NoHo and serves contemporary Thai food with a focus on seafood. Fish Cheeks takes a modern approach to traditional Thai dishes that features ingredients such as dried bird’s-eye chilli, tamarind, makrut lime and Sichuan peppercorns.
