Khloe Kardashian's physical appearance has been a topic of discussion for many years. She has been at the receiving end of much body shaming and questioning regarding changes in her body, which she has often attributed to fitness. But she has nothing to hide. And with her recent social media reveal after she recently turned 41, she is making sure her message is loud and clear.
London-based cosmetic surgeon, Dr Jonny Betteridge, who goes by the Instagram handle, @drjjb.aesthetics, took to his page to share an in-depth analysis of Khloe Kardashian's physical appearance. He compared multiple pictures of hers from the latest Bezos-Sanchez wedding to images of the reality star from the pinnacle of her fame. He mentioned surgeries such as a temporal brow lift, a rhinoplasty and a face and neck lift.
"She looks dramatically different from a few years ago, and whether you see it as glow up or glam makeover, there’s no denying she’s created a bold new look for herself," said Betteridge, followed by a disclaimer stating the breakdown is purely "speculative" and "based on his professional opinion"
Given the fact that Kylie Jenner recently revealed all the details of her breast augmentation, down to the surgeon, Khloe Kardashian didn't hold back any information when her recent transformation was the conversation starter. As far as her facial changes were concerned, she candidly commented on the expert's post:
For the unversed, her rhinoplasty was done by the Hollywood-favourite Indian-origin surgeon, Dr Kanodia, who is world-renowned for scarless nose jobs.
Rhinoplasty has many benefits beyond its aesthetic value. In conversation with Dr Chiranjeev Chhabra, Founder Director and Chief Dermatologist, Alive Wellness Clinics, she weighs in on what you should keep in mind before you approach this procedure.
"A rhinoplasty is way more than a procedure. It’s a facial harmonisation technique that requires artistry, precision, and planning. Whether you seek subtle refinement or functional correction, this is a treatment that should never be rushed. It is advisable to always begin with intentional clarity: What do you want to change? Is it the bridge, tip, or nostril flare? A consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon, preferably one who specialises in rhinoplasty. Also, understand the timeline-swelling can persist for months. This is particularly important if you have events like weddings or photoshoots—plan ahead to allow your features time to settle. Lastly, consider your lifestyle. Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and smoking pre-surgery. Post-surgery, you’ll need to sleep elevated, skip strenuous workouts, and protect your new nose carefully."
In this world, Botox comes easily to those who seek it. For Khloe Kardashian, it is certain now that it isn't the only thing she relies on. Dr Chhabra helped decode what Kardashian meant when she wrote "Botox and sculptra where my face tumor was removed in my cheek."
"Sculptra is not your general filler. It’s often referred to as a biostimulator, meaning it doesn’t just fill but activates your body’s natural collagen production to restore lost volume gradually and gracefully, resulting in a refined, lifted appearance that emerges subtly over time, rather than all at once. Botox relaxes surrounding facial muscles and minimises expression lines, whereas Sculptra strengthens the area. When someone mentions, 'I had Botox and Sculptra where my face tumor was removed,' they’re referring to a strategic, restorative approach—not just cosmetic, but truly corrective."
Despite continuous speculations, she denies getting any recent fillers done though by claiming "filler in the past but not any over the last few years (I hear it never goes away, so I’m sure it’s still there but calmed down.)" Is it true? Dr Kiran Sethi, Founder and Medical Head, Isyaderm states otherwise. "Fillers do go away. In some rare cases, some filler can remain in certain areas, but in the vast majority of cases, filler does dissolve on its own as it is supposed to. And, to accommodate this—good practitioners know to observe the face and replenish filler only based on need, not simply to just replenish."
So, how do you make the right choice? "When getting fillers, see what kind of aesthetic your doctor has, so that they align it accordingly. Always bring reference photos of what you like and let your doctor tell you what is possible or not. Make sure your doctor has enough experience and can handle complex cases as well, " said Dr Sethi.
Beyond the procedure, there are multiple factors to take into consideration before getting Botox and fillers done. Weight changes are one of them. Khloe Kardashian revealed she "lost 80 pounds over the years (slow and steady.)" So, what are the overall effects of fluctuating weight changes with respect to Botox and fillers, one may ask? Dr Chhabra puts it simply, "Significant weight gain (around 6-7 kgs or more) after getting fillers can blunt the good results, not because of the filler itself, but due to the way excessive weight gain alters facial structure. On the other hand, significant weight loss (6–8 kgs or more) may change the overall facial appearance, but if the filler used is of good quality and well-integrated, it will not move or look awkward. Hence, it is advisable to lose the weight first and then opt for filler injections for beautification to achieve optimal and lasting results."
Given that maintenance goes beyond surgical procedures, Khloe Kardashian also relies on her fitness journey, skincare and facials like the trending salmon sperm facial treatment. Dr Sethi, a pioneer in this facial treatment in India, elaborates on the treatment. "Salmon sperm facials have PDRN in them. PDRN makes skin thicker, in turn making it look younger. It helps increase collagen and elastin by over 44%. Neovascularisation and improved vascular health and blood flow are also seen with this treatment—improving rosacea, dark under-eye colour, and even improved hair growth on the scalp when used for haircare. It's quite miraculous."
While many on the internet are debating the transparency of many procedures that she hasn't revealed, it must be appreciated that, as a known celebrity, where public image is everything, she chose honesty above all. Over the years, Khloe Kardashian's transformation has gone far beyond weight loss. There are clear signs of both non-surgical tweaks and likely surgical procedures, with several features pointing to a face and neck lift. Khloe Kardashian's evolution is proof of how much facial structure can change with time, styling and possibly the right surgical help.
