From India, Diljit Dosanjh, Manish Malhotra, Kiara Advani and Shah Rukh Khan made their debuts this year. All four coveted celebrities walked the Met Gala red carpet for the first time, sending their fan bases into a frenzy. Apart from them, celebrities such as Lisa, Doechii, and Chapelle Roan also made their debuts this Monday.

2. Rihanna's Baby No. 3

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky announced baby number three at the Met Gala as the singer debuted her baby bump on the red carpet. Rihanna has always announced her pregnancies in style, opting for events like the Super Bowl to share her personal milestones with her fans.

3. Zendaya and Anna Sawai Twinning 

Great minds think alike; at least they do in the case of both Zendaya and Anna Sawai's stylists. Zendaya's look this year was an ode to the fashion icons such as Bianca Jagger and Diane Ross; for which, stylist Law Roach dressed her in custom Louis Vuitton and Bulgari jewels. Stylist Karla Welch dressed Shogun-famed Anna Sawai in a custom Dior and Cartier jewels as a nod to 70s tailoring. Funny enough, both the looks ended up being similar replicas of each other. 

4. Damson Idris's Outfit Reveal 

Damson Idris's outfit change at the Met Gala has to be on top of our lists when it comes to talking about the best celebrity moments at the Met Gala this year. The 33-year-old actor arrived at the Met Gala in a F1 racing suit that was ripped right off him on the carpet, revealing a Tommy Hilfiger ensemble. His racing suit and a Swarovski-encrusted helmet are a nod to his latest F1 movie in which he stars in, along with Brad Pitt. 

5. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's Date Night

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner showed up at the Met Gala together. Lipa wore a beaded Chanel dress, whereas Turner opted for a 1920s-style black coat over a crisp white shirt in honour of the "Superfine Tailoring"-theme. The couple were affectionate with each other and posed together for pictures.

7. Cast Reunions 

The stellar cast members of The White Lotus, like Aimee Lou Wood, Lisa, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Walton Goggins were all present at the Met Gala this year, leading to an impromptu cast reunion. Stranger Things stars Maya Hawke and Sadie Sink also walked the Met Gala red carpet together.

A Met Gala tradition, the bathroom selfie is one picture that all fashion lovers eagerly wait for post the event. This year, actress Laura Harrier posted the selfie on Instagram, keeping up with the ritual.
