


The Gold House Gala once again brought together some of the biggest names across entertainment, fashion and culture, with South Asian talent making a strong showing throughout the evening. Held in Los Angeles as part of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebrations, the gala reflected the growing global influence of South Asian creatives across film, television and fashion. Here are some of the South Asian names spotted at the event this year.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas attended the gala in a custom couture look by Amit Aggarwal, inspired by her roots in Uttar Pradesh and the timeless craft of chikankari from Lucknow. The ensemble featured a two-decade-old saree reimagined into couture. She was also honoured with the Global Vanguard Honor at the event.

Mindy Kaling attended in an embroidered sparkling sleeveless gown by Anita Dongre, pairing intricate detailing with contemporary evening glamour.

The Pitt's Supriya Ganesh, who was also recognised as part of the Gold100 list this year, attended the gala in white-and-gold look from Naeem Khan's Spring 2026 collection, featuring delicate gold and silver threadwork.

Poorna Jagannathan opted for a custom gown by Vietnamese designer Do Long that combined dramatic tailoring with intricate textures, while attending alongside the cast of Deli Boys.

Asif Ali (pictured on the left) attended the gala as part of the Deli Boys cast lineup, wearing a classic black tuxedo with modern tailoring while Saagar Shaikh (pictured on the right) wore a contemporary suit styled with minimal accessories and clean tailoring.

Kal Penn went the snazzy route with a burgundy-hued tuxedo over a floral kurta, making it an ethnic-infused red carpet look.

Avan Jogia attended in a hand-embroidered sherwani Rahul Mishra's Spring 2024 "Superheroes" couture collection. He co-ordinated with his fiancé, singer Halsey, who wore a translucent serpent gown from the same collection.

Armaan Malik wore a custom black bandhgala ensemble by Falguni Shane Peacock, marking the appearance as the first Indian musician to attend the prestigious cultural gathering in Los Angeles.
