
Manika Vishwakarma, a 22-year-old student from Rajasthan, has been crowned as Miss Universe India. The grand finale was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on August 18, 2025, for the second consecutive year, where Manika was bestowed the title of Miss Universe India out of a total of 48 contestants. Manika will now be representing India in the Miss Universe pageant internationally, which is slated to happen in Thailand later this year.
Manika is from Rajasthan but is currently residing in Delhi, where she is currently a final-year student of Political Science and Economics. The multi-talented 22-year-old is trained in classical dancing and is also an artist. She has represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon, an initiative organised under the Ministry of External Affairs. Apart from this, her artistic sensibilities have won her accolades at the Lalit Kala Academy and the JJ School of Arts.
Her accomplishments go beyond academics and arts, too. In addition to supporting the cause of neurodivergence, Mainka Vishwakarma also founded Neuronova, an organisation aimed at increasing awareness of disorders like ADHD. The goal of her organisation is to see these circumstances as special cognitive capabilities rather than issues.
The panel of judges for the Miss Universe selection included fashion designer Ashley Rebello, movie director Farhad Samji, Actress and Miss Universe India 2015 Urvashi Rautela, and Founder of Act Now Organisation Rajiv K Shrivastava, among others.

The first runner-up of the pageant was Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Mehak Dhingra from Delhi as the second runner-up, Amishi Kaushik as the third runner-up, and Sarangthem Nirupama as the fourth runner-up.
Tanya is a 22-year-old actress and model who was born in Uttar Pradesh and graduated from Delhi University with degrees in Psychology, English, and French. She is a jazz, hip-hop, and Bollywood-trained dancer who competes nationally. Tanya began her acting career when she was 10 and has since, worked in theatre, TV commercials, fashion runways, and on the TEDx stage.
Mehak Dhingra is a 19-year-old from Delhi who holds a degree in Fashion Media and Communication and Psychology. She is a trained dancer in the forms of jazz, ballet, contemporary, and Bollywood, who began performing at the age of three. She stepped into modelling when she was 12. She is also a state-level player of roller hockey and a passionate advocate for animal welfare.
23-year-old Amishi Kaushik is a professional model with an academic and athletic background. She began modelling in 2020 and has starred in Dharma Production movies and T-series music videos.
Sarangthem Nirupama, a Northeast Indian student from Manipur, studies psychology in Punjab. Along with securing a spot in the top 5, Nirupama also won the crown for the title of Miss Popular.
