Lisa is ethereally elegant in a dreamy floral Maison Margiela Artisanal creation at the 2025 Busan International Film Festival

Cinephiles and fashionistas who await the advent of a film festival; even if it's just for its red carpet style quotient, may think they know all the major ones attended by big-wigs from all over the world. Those at Venice, Cannes and Toronto may currently be most popular but Asia isn't far behind. The Busan International Film Festival, which began in the late 90s out of South Korea, boasts of being the first film festival to come out of Korea with a close focus on filmmaking in Asia. The 30th edition of BIFF was flagged off last night by the likes of Korean-Canadian director Maggie Kang, who directed the hit KPop Demon Hunters, Korean star Lee Byung-hun as well as Hollywood filmmaker Guillermo del Toro with Park Chan-wook’s film, No Other Choice, being the festival's opening film.

The most glamourous moment of the night however, was when Lisa arrived on the red carpet. Merely days after turning heads at the 2025 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, the Thai superstar from K-pop girl group BLACKPINK rubbed shoulders with the Asian film world's finest for the opening night of the event. And this being Lisa, you could only expect it to be stylish one.

The artist wore a stunning creation from the Maison Margiela Artisanal 2025 collection; a choice pick from Glenn Martens' debut line. Featuring a skin-fitted bodice with a high-neckline, long sleeves and an underwire bustier, it was covered with watercolour florals all over. With hip-exposing cutouts, it led to a sheer column-silhouette skirt with 3D floral appliqué adorning it, with her clear acrylic boots peeping through its length.

Her long blonde hair was worn down straight, with a braid across her crown and a full fringe in front. With jewellery by Bvlgari, including face-framing dangling earrings, Lisa completed the look with a radiant makeup look of winged eyeliner and glossy blurred lips.

Trust Lisa to turn the red carpet of a film festival into a certified catwalk.
