Beyond the appreciation of cinema from all across the globe, the Cannes Film Festival is a well-known spectacle for fashion lovers. Trends straight off the runway parade on the red carpet, while being worn by some of the most notable faces of international cinema. From Bollywood celebrities like Jacqueline Fernandez and Janhvi Kapoor to Hollywood greats like Nicole Kidman and Eva Longoria, the stars are shining brighter than ever in Southern France right now. On day 9 of the festival, take a look as numerous celebrities continue to leave their mark in their sophisticated outfits, from which Team HELLO! has picked their favourites.
1. Urvashi Rautela
Urvashi Rautela embodied glam on the 10th day of the Cannes Film Festival — and so did her bag. In a sheer and shimmery floor length gown with exaggerated shoulders, she made a maximal statement straight for the books. The intricate detailing on her dress was carved in both gold and silver while she accessorised in a contrasting pink multi-layered necklace as well as earrings. Her purse too was structured in the shape of a woman’s torso, also donning a multi-layered necklace same as herself. With a bold eye for her makeup, Rautela swept all eyes and nods.
2. Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor is serving at the Film Festival— and how! The spectrum of her sartorial finesse ranges from reviving archival fashion to channeling Indian heritage through contemporary couture. On day 10, she chose an attire that exuded richness. Wearing a 1989 YSL jacket, paired with an Anamika Khanna skirt, she wore sheer tights with pointed heels, all in noir. Just accessorising with diamond earrings, she made her hat the star of the show with an undeniably elegant makeup look.
3. Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson
Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson stunned the Cannes red carpet in co-ordinated black attires. Amy wore an off-shoulder black gown, paired with a diamond necklace, earrings as well as a bracelet, styling her hair in a slick-back bun. On the other hand, Ed donned a chequered black two-piece suit along with a white shirt and tinted sunglasses. The couple made heads turn walking hand-in-hand.
4. Heidi Klum
German model Heidi Klum walked the red carpet making a strong case for an all-black attire. Her rendition featured a strapless, embellished gown with a sheer, net skirt at the bottom. Layered with a fringed jacket that she carried on her forearms that also extended into a trail, the outfit was as chic as it can get. With her hair open and eyes in a smokey makeup, she exuded confidence with the serve.
5. Taraji P Henson
Indian couturiers are heralding international acclaim, and we are here for it. Actress Taraji P Henson was seen walking down the carpet in a sculptural white Gaurav Gupta ensemble, that embodied his signature aesthetic. With multiple diamond rings, earrings and a statement bracelet, she even made her hair as an accessory by adding a streak of white to match with her ensemble.
6. Cara Delevingne
An all time favourite, Cara Delevingne looked like red carpet finesse as always. In a straight, strapless floor length gown, she donned a diamond and emerald necklace with black net gloves that complimented her ensemble gracefully. In her signature wavy hair, she walked the carpet with discerning sophistication.
7. Helen Mirren
Helen Mirren epitomised elegance in a black gown featuring a turquoise bow-belt that elongated into a trail. Letting her jewellery take center-stage, she adorned a massive necklace entailing pearls and heavy diamonds, that stood out as a pop of colour. Accessorising with a rose hat, she had her hair up in a messy bun and carried a small black purse alongwith.
8. Eva Longoria
Eva Longoria channelled her clean girl aesthetic in a chocolate sequinned slip gown from the Fall/Winter 2025 Michael Kors Collection. Championing sequins with elegance, she accessorised with earrings and a neckpiece that complemented the dress and tied up the look with yet another clean bun.
