Jeff Bezos married Lauren Sanchez in a spectacular wedding that stretched across the last weekend of June 2025 at picturesque locations from San Giorgio Maggiore to Arsenale di Venezia. In attendance at the extravagant Italian wedding was the creme de la creme of Hollywood; including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, four-fifths of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, Orlando Bloom, Ivanka Trump and Bill Gates, amongst others. High on the Bezos-Sanchez guest list was businesswoman and philanthropist, Natasha Poonawalla and entrepreneur and investor, Mona Patel. Both accomplished in their respective fields while being front-runners in the fashion sphere, Natasha and Mona brought Indian representation to the wedding ceremony while simultaneously scoring high on the style meter.
Here’s a fashion breakdown of what Natasha Poonawalla and Mona Patel wore for the Bezos-Sanchez wedding weekend in Venice, Italy.
Mona Patel, who was accompanied by her husband Dr. Chintan Desai, first attended the pre-wedding celebrations. The close friend of Lauren, made a striking appearance in head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana; a burgundy lace cutwork column-style dress with a high neckline and cap sleeves which had a peek-a-boo appeal to it.
For the wedding ceremony, Mona chose a S/S 2025 gown by Lebanese couturier Georges Hobeika. It marked the first time that Hobeika has dressed Patel, who donned the gold pleated gown having a rhinestone-studded bodice, with elan.
Finally came the wedding after-party, called 'Dolce Notte', which had a chic sleep theme. Mona attended in a black structured Dolce & Gabbana mini dress with a strapless neckline, sheer back and coiled threadwork over its length.
Natasha, a gal pal of Lauren's who even attended her bachelorette party in Paris, started strong with her Venetian wedding style, right out of the gate. Her first outfit was a red sculptural dress with a corseted bodice, exaggerated heart motifs and arrows piercing through them, with dramatic crimson tassels.
For the wedding ceremony, Natasha wore a sleeveless gown that came with a textured silver-beaded bodice and was complete with a voluminous chartreuse yellow silk skirt.
For another event from the wedding weekend, Natasha donned a statement-making sculptural gown which featured a cage-like hoop skirt embroidered with delicate cherubs and botanical motifs.
