The Chaiya Chaiya famed dancer is seen doing jumping jacks for 60 seconds, followed by glute kicks, roping and high knee taps for 40, 50 and 30 seconds, respectively.
Jumping jacks help work multiple muscles as it moves the whole body, while high-knee taps keep the core engaged. Roping helps with enhanced coordination and balance and glute kicks improve hip stability and athletic performance. All of these exercises are great for cardiovascular health and help to burn calories.
While a HIIT workout is a great addition to a fitness routine, doing the same type of workout can become boring quickly, making you lose interest. Malaika keeps things interesting by incorporating multiple different types of workouts in her fitness regime.
