Yeti, The Himalayan Kitchen, Mumbai: Maximum city may be home to multiple international cuisines; from Peruvian to Japanese, but there are still a handful of regional cuisines which have stayed under the radar and yet are spectacularly delicious. Himalayan cuisine is one of them, which Yeti in Bandra might just be changing. Concentrating on food from Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and the Northeastern regions of India, the restaurant stays authentic throughout its offerings with its flavours and ingredients. The variety of momos; from deep-fried in a pie crust to steamed in their very traditional (and very spicy!) house schezwan sauce might have been the most authentic version of the dish I've tasted in Mumbai, despite considering it's a street food favourite that's available on every corner. Their selection of sauces, from a salty sesame to a pungent chilli, deserved a mention for how it elevated the food with its legitimate flavour profile that required only a spoonful to make any dish sing. The Mushroom Datchi, a rich and cheesy gravy, paired with a fluffy steamed bread called Tingmo, and was a new discovery for me, which I've bookmarked for the future. The Special Thukpa; an expectant favourite was packed with noodles, vegetables, egg and pork, and didn't disappoint either. Cooked Wai Wai, a regional favourite, found a spot on the menu as well. My meal at Yeti; which also has outlets in Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune and Mussoorrie, made all too sure sure that I proclaimed just how true their food stayed to its roots and how comforting every bite turned out to be.

Pantai Pura's journals and calendars: There's just something reaffirming about switching to analogue modes, which many; including myself, have turned to in 2026. That has meant finding replacements for many tasks which my phone does most of; including making notes and blocking dates on the calendar. Pantai Pura, a luxury handcrafted Indian lifestyle brand, rolled out its line of journals and calendars, which fit into my first quarter of the year perfectly. Featuring delightful visuals in a calming colour palette of green, beige and the brand's signature orchid motif have transformed this simple calendar into a stunning office desk accessory that's pleasing to the eyes when I view it the first thing in the morning. Their journals, which come ruled or dotted with deliciously high-stock quality paper, is a note-taker's dream that will make any type-A hunt for the ideal pen to suit such a stunning book. Going analogue can be challenging but the note-taking bit of it has been one I now look forward to, all thanks to the new additions on my work desk.

SimplyNam's Hydrafit Concealer: The availability of base makeup in shades that suit Indian complexions has been a problem before, but it's one that beauty brands like Fenty, Huda Beauty and M.A.C. have solved. Though homegrown Indian beauty brands haven't explored the issue of wide makeup shade ranges which are made in India, SimplyNam is one of the first to do so with their new Hydrafit Concealers. The formula is creamy enough to rest comfortably over blemishes but light enough that it can be layered without feeling like the skin is caked up. The transparent packaging makes identifying the shade within super easy and also goes a step forward to specify the undertone so one can fine-tune their pick accordingly. Plus, their culturally-rooted and very cute shade names like Kishmish, Cheeni and Kahwa don't hurt either. Co-founded by Namrata Soni, who has an illustrious career as a makeup artist to stars from Aishwarya Rai to Sonam Kapoor, her 25+ years of expertise are proof of how industry experience can go on to create a product that's genuinely fantastic enough to wear daily.

The Grammar Room, Delhi: Everything is forgiven during wedding season; even ditching your diet temporarily to eat your favourite dishes and drink your favourite cocktails. But the Grammar Room in Mehrauli (and Khan Market) is a refreshing change from the quintessential wedding binge, without compromising on the taste or the experience of eating out. A much-needed pause thanks to its lively space, makes everything feel lighter and intentionally unhurried. It is easy to gravitate towards their fresh, vibrant salads like the Avo Pomelo Salad, which I couldn't recommend enough. Their smoothie bowls and breakfast specials don't weigh you down the way wedding feasts inevitably do. That's the thing about their food ideology as it's clubbed with their naturally sunlit space to enjoy food that nourishes rather than overwhelms. For post wedding season pause or mid-wedding shopping, this restaurant is the perfect escape that lets you feel like yourself again amid all the indulgence.

Imitation jewellery from Attrangi: With gold and silver prices touching skyrocket heights, the wedding season has breathed new life into good quality imitation jewellery. Sure, gold and silver still remain among the best assets for long-term investments, with changing trends, I found the perfect alternative to fine jewellery. Enter Attrangi. A jewellery store I spotted online, with the solution for all wedding functions, whether intimate or destination weddings. Their imitation pieces have a surprising weight and finish to them, which looks luxurious yet feels effortless enough to wear all day. I found statement earrings, embellished bangles, the 'viral' layered hair-chains and contemporary pieces that work beautifully across multiple outfits without feeling repetitive. What impressed me most was the durability; nothing felt fragile or temporary owing to the attention to detail in craftsmanship that has been ensured in its manufacturing of it. I’d tell anyone to explore it as it gives you the freedom to create memorable looks without the pressure that comes with purchasing precious jewellery.

Styling services at Sinh Salon, Khan Market: As a serial wedding attendee this year, I have found myself feeling overwhelmed by the hectic schedules of all the subsequent wedding functions leading up to the big day. Being a bridesmaid is no easy task, but walking into Sinh Salon at Khan Market was just the solution I needed. From the moment I stepped into the salon, I was transported to a confident preparation zone where I had to think about nothing else. Their professional team handled everything. From the hair styling to the saree draping, every detail was taken care of. They understood my vision and implemented it with precision and attention to the minutest detail. The saree drape stayed perfect for hours, and my hair, tied in a low, structured ponytail, had that soft, polished movement you usually only see in photographs. I’d recommend this experience to anyone who wants to feel completely put together without the stress of figuring it out alone.
