Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco make a stunning red carpet debut at the 2025 Emmy Awards

Actress, artist and entrepreneur Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco have gone through many rites of passage in their relationship, since they began dating in 2023. They've travelled the world, gotten engaged late last year and even released a joint album together. Though it may feel like the couple have been in public consciousness for as long as memory serves, today they completed yet another milestone in a tight embrace: the coveted red carpet celebrity debut. Selena and Benny attended the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards 2025 Emmy Awards, which marked their first official red carpet appearance as a couple.

Selena turned heads in a custom-made Louis Vuitton gown in a striking shade of vermillion. The asymmetrical sleeveless detail led to a turtleneck, transforming into a scarf that cascaded down her back. Across the front, with pleats along the neckline, it sat demurely as a modest column-style silhouette. Makeup, of course, was right on-point for the Rare Beauty founder, as she paired the look with a coral lip, flushed cheeks and clean eyes and brows, with her brunette locks pulled into a sleek ponytail. Jewellery included sparkling Tiffany & Co. earrings and rings, keeping the rest of the ensemble minimal yet impactful.

Close at the side of his wife-to-be was Benny, who wore a sleek black suit and glittering black shirt beneath, turning it into an entirely monochrome look, off-set only by a gold embellished watch.

Before their reported wedding this season, looks like this couple walked down the red carpet before the wedding aisle.
