Through history, eyewear was created designed for protection and vision correction. Today, it's one of fashion’s most powerful tools of self-expression. For Aryan Khan, eyewear can be a compelling medium. As he extends the D’YAVOL X universe into eyewear, Khan speaks exclusively to HELLO! India to position frames not as finishing touches, but as defining statements that sit at the centre of one’s presence. “Eyewear has always fascinated me because it’s one of the most immediate expressions of personal style,” Aryan explains. “Unlike clothes, it sits on your face; it can easily become part of your identity.” That idea sits at the core of D’YAVOL X’s eyewear launch, which treats frames as both functional objects and design narratives. The result is eyewear that feels deliberate rather than decorative.

The aesthetic of D’YAVOL X eyewear mirrors his broader creative instincts. “I’ve always been drawn to design that’s minimal but distinctive,” he says. While Aryan shaped the collection’s visual language, his famous father, Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement added a lived-in perspective, for how the frames sit, feel, and endure over time. The result is eyewear that integrates seamlessly into daily life while carrying the quiet authority of a long-term personal signature rather than a fleeting trend.

For Leti Blagoeva, co-founder of D’YAVOL X, longevity was a non-negotiable. “We set out with the goal of creating a collection that will hold its own in the moment, but also a couple of decades down the line,” she says. She emphasises the importance of finish and material integrity, elements that elevate the collection beyond seasonal relevance.

The creative process was further shaped by Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement, which Blagoeva describes as both instinctive and invaluable. Together, this collective vision reflects how eyewear has evolved into a cultural marker.
