2025 was a whirlwind year for Alia Bhatt on the red carpet. Her return and debut on some of the most esteemed international red carpets last year proved that her track record on the fashion front is a continuous upward trend. As we near Cannes season this year for the 79th edition, HELLO! India reflects on Alia Bhatt's stylish journey from the previous year, where Alia Bhatt gave multiple stylish appearances on and off the red carpet.

For her debut, she pulled out all the stops in a structured ivory Schiaparelli gown. The neutral tones of the gown perfectly balanced out the maximalist silhouette. The silhouette of the gown begins at the off-shoulder neckline and continues through the layers of tulle. In speaking of balance, that aspect was extended to her makeup and hairstyle as well. A sleek low bun with kiss curls on the side for the hair, and a dewy, blush pink hue for the makeup, completed her look.

The La Croissette got a splash of colour with pops of yellow in a skirt set including a bralette, a cropped jacket and a midi skirt, accessorised with sunglasses, a floral scarf, all from Gucci and completed with the Gucci Bamboo bag. In case the bright pop of colours wasn't enough, she compensates with a chic red pout.

As the brand ambassador of L'Oreal Paris, she represented the brand with grace and poise at the event. Alia Bhatt wore an Armani Privé gown, an ode to the late designer, where the night sky lent some of its stars to her gown to glimmer away. This time, she went for an avant-garde hairstyle to match her gown. The sleek bun was styled with rhinestones to match her gown. The makeup, on the other hand, was still minimalistic, signature to Alia Bhatt.

For the final event, and the one that broke the internet, and for good reason, Alia Bhatt wore the first-ever custom Gucci saree. A modern reinterpretation of the saree with the brand's monogram and embellished with crystals all over. The red carpet moment, complete with sultry, smoky eyes, bronzed finish and voluminous waves, surely went down in history as one of the most memorable red carpet moments.

Alia Bhatt is reportedly set to return to the French Riviera, and we can be sure she will return with some more lessons on red carpet style.
