Sydney Sweeney ravishes in a red Oscar de la Renta gown at the 2025 Emmy Awards

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards 2025 were held on Sunday night, at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. Hosted by stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze, Cristin Milioti won her first Emmy for The Penguin while Lorne Michaels, producer of Saturday Night Live, won his 24th Emmy award. Sydney Sweeney may have been solely a presenter at this edition of the award ceremony but that didn't mean the Hollywood actress didn't win, by any means. Sydney attended the 2025 Emmy Awards wearing a crimson red strapless gown by Oscar de la Renta. The silken number featured a twisted bust detail with a plunging strapless neckline, leading to a cinched waist and flowing A-line silhouette. The actress accessorised with a matching stole in red silk, which she draped around her back and through her hands. And if you thought her striking designer dress was the highlight of her look, you may have to think again.

Across her neckline was a 120-carat diamond necklace by Lorraine Schwartz, which came with a 40-carat marquise pendant, in the front and centre. More is more as far as diamonds are concerned, leading Sweeney to also wear 30-carat pear-shaped diamond drop earrings and 25 carats of diamond rings; bringing it to a grand total of 175 carats of Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Complementing the streamlined look were her muted beauty choices. Sydney's layered blonde hair was blown outward in face-framing waves, whose honey tones looked spectacular against her red gown. Peach tones over her lips and cheeks were completed with fluttery lashes for a understated finish to her red carpet look.
