“Easy, breezy and chic”: Diana Penty shares her summer fashion motto with HELLO!

Summer is a season unlike any other. The beach days are breezier, cocktails hit different and fashion choices are nearly limitless. However, the soaring temperature and humid climate can also be tricky for those aiming to put their most stylish foot forward. That’s true for most of us; including Bollywood actress Diana Penty too. As the sweltering season reaches its peak with summer showers adding to the humidity, HELLO! speaks to Diana Penty about how she’s approaching fashion this season in a way that’s practical as well as pretty.

On being asked what she cannot live without in the heat, Diana promptly replies, “Easy, breezy cottons”, which we can definitely see ourselves in too. Trends are important for summer and if Miss Penty had to pick from the scores of ever-changing styles in circulation, she says that “powder pinks and butter yellows” would be her go-to palette for hot days.

Diana recently walked the ramp for Marks & Spencer wearing a multi-coloured crochet halter bralette with a beige co-ord set of a shirt and roomy pants, which she thought was “great for the beach”. On what she wouldn’t be caught dead in on these sunny days, she emphasised that it was just too hot to be sporting a “full suit of a blazer and a pant, especially in a dark colour”. Signing off, Diana needed only three words to define her summer fashion motto and called it, “easy, breezy and chic”.
