Tarun Tahiliani’s grand finale showcase, Bejeweled, for the House of Lakmé at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI, was a stunning ode to India’s timeless relationship with adornment. With Aneet Padda as the showstopper; marking her runway debut, the collection reimagined jewels as symbols of light, transformation, and identity. The Gen Z face of Lakmé said, “Walking for the Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI runway for the first time was a thrilling experience. Collaborating with Tarun Tahiliani and seeing his artistry come alive on the runway was truly inspiring, and I hope this showcase encourages everyone to embrace their own brilliance”. The designer added, “For me being bejeweled has never just been about wearing ornaments. It is about the light that comes from within and how that light is translated to Indian sensuality in clothing." With rich jewel tones, fluid drapes, and sculptural metallics, Bejeweled was where tradition meets sophistication, and every woman becomes the jewel herself.
