Venice Film Festival 2026: HELLO! India's best dressed stars on the red carpet

The Venice Film Festival is once again proving that the red carpet is as much a showcase for personal style as it is for cinema. From Amal and George Clooney’s timeless sophistication to Nicholas Galitzine and Jonathan Bailey’s modern take on menswear, and Formula 1 star Carlos Sainz Jr.’s polished eveningwear, the festival’s best-dressed guests brought plenty of fashion moments to the Lido.

At the opening night of the international film festival, Amal Clooney brought her signature sophisticated glamour to Venice in a custom black ruched gown, while George Clooney kept things classic in a sharp black tuxedo. 

Nicholas Galitzine opted for pared-back eveningwear in a crisp white shirt with black trousers. 

Jonathan Bailey gave classic black tie a contemporary update by pairing a double-breasted tuxedo with relaxed barrel-shaped trousers, a pleated white shirt, velvet bow tie and sunglasses.

Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz Jr. swapped the racetrack for the red carpet in a tuxedo, standing out in an ivory dinner jacket against classic black trousers, a cummerbund and bow tie. His date, Scottish model Rebecca Donaldson, showed up in a strapless silver gown, accessorised with a delicate diamond necklace and matching bracelets.

Newlywedded Georgina Rodríguez stepped onto the red carpet in a sleek navy skirt suit with a plunging neckline. She accessorised with a diamond choker, statement earrings and rings, while pointed Gucci pumps featuring the house’s signature Horsebit buckle added a polished finish.

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse made a stylish red carpet appearance at the festival, with Pattinson opting for a crisp white Dior double-breasted pinstriped suit. Waterhouse took a more playful approach in an olive-green lace mini dress, pairing the delicate texture with a confident, leg-baring silhouette. 

Ricky Martin wore a tailored double-breasted white blazer, paired with black trousers and a relaxed open-neck shirt, which balanced sharp tailoring with an effortless finish.

Pamela Anderson made a striking statement at the amfAR Gala in Venice, pairing her signature makeup-free aesthetic with a vibrant orange, floor-length satin gown.

Patrick Schwarzenegger brought sharp tailoring to the Venice Film Festival, stepping onto the red carpet in a polished red suit with a contrasting printed shirt and tie and black trousers which gave the actor a sleek, contemporary edge.

Penélope Cruz made a sophisticated statement in a red gown which featured a plunging neckline and a dramatic thigh-high slit with intricate red embellishments at the hip. Javier Bardem took a classic approach to the Venice red carpet by wearing a black tuxedo with satin lapels and a bow tie for his appearance alongside Cruz.
