Back when the world was battling the 2020 pandemic, the hours stuck inside our homes, doomscrolling, led to the discovery of some unique, some unconventional and some unhinged food hacks to go viral on the internet that we had to try for ourselves. Since then, there's no going back. Trendy food hacks on the internet have been a guilty pleasure we all indulge in, like the Oreo cookie mug cake and Dalgona coffee. Celebrities weren't going to be left behind as discovering food hacks from TikTok and Instagram became their next big thing, leading them to share their own unique takes on food. We went on a deep dive of food combos by celebrities that sound eclectic; yet somehow delicious, all at the same time.

Scroll below to know what these crazy food combos are.

1. Dua Lipa's many unique food pairings

Dua Lipa's approach to chilli in food should be studied. Her method of consuming ice cream or Diet Coke is anything but conventional. The 29-year-old singer loves to add sea salt and olive oil to her vanilla ice cream. Sounds odd yet interesting at the same time, right? Dua Lipa's way of eating ice cream is actually quite popular in Greece. The Don't Stop Me Now singer doesn't stop there; she also loves adding pickle juice to her Diet Coke. Who are we to judge? If you want to try this combination, go ahead. All you need to do is drink your Diet Coke with a splash of pickled jalapeño juice and dill pickle juice.

2. Deepika Padukone's favourite Bhutanese dish

Lives were changed when Deepika Padukone shared a recipe for a simple Bhutanese dish that fulfils your spicy and cheesy cravings at the same time. The chilli-cheese mash recipe by the actress is actually a well-known dish in Bhutan called Ema Datshi. Simply add chillies, spring onion, farm cheese, salt and oil and serve it alongside rice.

3. Gigi Hadid's vodka pasta

The Italians will surely have a bone to pick with the Palestinian-American supermodel ever since Gigi Hadid claimed their penne alla vodka as her go-to pasta and as a result, that pasta got a new name as 'Gigi Hadid's Vodka Pasta'. Her boozy approach to pasta has changed how the internet will be consuming this dish again. The recipe is quite simple as you need to simply combine shell pasta with olive oil, vodka, shallots, heavy whipping cream, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and butter. Top it off with fresh parmesan and basil leaves to finish off.

4. Beyoncé's magic cleanse juice

Haven't we all been guilty of trying unconventional ways to shrink for an event? Turns out Beyoncé is in the same boat as us. She famously drank lemon juice with cayenne pepper and maple syrup to shrink for her role in Dream Girls. While the drink has cleansing benefits, take inputs from your nutritionist before you go for it, as it can do more harm than good.

5. Gwyneth Paltrow's butter coffee

Butter coffee is a celebrity-favourite way to stay energised for hours. How to make it, you ask? Simply combine a tablespoon of butter with your favourite caffeine drink and you have got yourself a butter coffee. If you are a true desi like Kriti Sanon, replace the butter with ghee for an Indianised version of it.

6. Hailey Bieber's pizza toast

Hailey Bieber enjoys pizza for breakfast in a toast-like style. Combining our favourite Italian dish with morning toast is a genius way to start a day, we must say.
