HELLO! Exclusive: Keshav Reddy on making it big in business and balancing life along with it

Much has been said about Keshav Reddy’s professional pursuits. As the third generation scion of the esteemed GVK family of Hyderabad; the entrepreneur, with an MBA from MIT who graduated from the University of Michigan, has gone on to found multiple startups in fields, varying from E-commerce to FinTech. But there’s more to the young turk than just his business acumen. There’s also his backstory of endless motivation to reach that very pavilion of success. In an exclusive conversation with HELLO!, Keshav Reddy discusses what life is as a start-up entrepreneur, the drive that keeps him going and much more.

The journey of bringing not one, or two; but multiple start-up companies to life, has delivered some lessons to the businessman in the bargain, as well. One of them is, “Always focus on the end goal as the pathway to get there will always keep changing.” On being asked what was the most life-changing advice he ever received, Keshav promptly responds, “Feet to the ground and eyes to the sky; it tells to you be humble while also being ambitious.”

Work may be termed as worship but even for Keshav, health is the real wealth and the fact that he is prioritising it this season, is all the proof required. He reveals that his hectic workdays can often throw a wrench in the works, which is why his current focus is on maintaining a healthier lifestyle. 

Keshav signs off with valuable parting words meant for Generation Z existing in the digital age, saying, “Find something you enjoy and become its expert. In the world of AI, knowledge is commoditised so you should be really good at one thing which others won’t.”
