Prince William and Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton are moving homes soon. The couple, who currently resides at Adelaide Cottage, will soon be moving to a new home in Windsor. William and Kate are all set to move to the Forest Lodge, which is an eight-bedroom Windsor Great Park property. Currently, Forest Lodge is also undergoing some minor renovations ahead of the family’s move. Prior to this, the family had been living in Adelaide Cottage; which is another property on the Windsor castle grounds; where they have been residing since August 2022. The four-bedroom cottage, however, was not adequate for the family anymore.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are looking at making Forrest Lodge their permanent residence as they wish to live there after they ultimately become the King and Queen of England. The couple first moved from London’s Kensington Palace in 2022 and have since, made Windsor their home.

The Georgian-style residence in the heart of Windsor park, Forest Lodge, is a 300 year old building. It has stucco cornices and plaster ceiling embellishments, Venetian windows, marble fireplaces, and half-barrel-vaulted ceilings in the hall.

The images of Forest Lodge from its last major renovation—from 2001 that cost approximately £1.5 million—showed a blend of historic glamour with contemporary comfort. The Georgian home is now worth as much as £16million and is surrounded by sweeping views of the countryside which reflects Kate's appreciation of nature.

A spokesperson from Kensington Palace has confirmed to People that the royal pair, along with their children, will be moving to Forest Lodge later this year. Other homes that belong to the Prince and Princess of Wales, include Anmer Hall in Norfolk near Sandringham and Kensington Palace, which remains their official residence.
