At the Cannes Film Festival 2026, Aditi Rao Hydari brought her signature sense of elegance to the global red carpet. While Cannes is often defined by dramatic fashion moments and larger-than-life glamour, Aditi’s style stood out for a different reason. Known for embracing timeless silhouettes, delicate beauty looks, and a refined sense of dressing, the actress leaned into the kind of effortless glamour that has become closely associated with her personal style over the years.

There's always room for a saree moment, and Aditi Rao Hydari at Cannes continues to be a stylish excuse for one. For her recent Cannes Film Festival appearance with L’Oréal, Aditi Rao Hydari wore a custom saree titled Chaarbagh, a couture tribute to Indian craftsmanship and heritage, from JADE by MK, which she styled with traditional gold jewellery from Indriya.

Inspired by the Mughal gardens of Kashmir, the saree brings together four archival block prints handcrafted by 4th-generation Chippa artisans from Rajasthan, paired with JADE by MK’s signature Mughal-inspired Kasab embroidery. Rendered in soft champagne silk tissue, the look reimagines traditional Indian craft through a contemporary couture lens on the global stage.

For the red carpet event, Aditi Rao Hydari did a full one-eighty degree for a structured gown in a pop of colour. She went for a neon green strapless gown from Tony Ward. What gave the gown its structure was the pleated bustier extending to a flowing gown with a slit on the side. In addition to the flowy silhouette, there was an over-the-shoulder drape, almost mimicking a saree pallu but in the modern sense. The jewellery was minimal with a touch of glam featuring just a drop necklace.

There was a sense of quiet confidence in her appearance, where every detail felt polished yet natural, striking a balance between classic old-world charm and modern red carpet dressing. From graceful styling choices to beauty that focused on freshness rather than excess, her Cannes outing reflected the idea that elegance does not always need to be loud to make an impact. In a sea of statement looks, Aditi Rao Hydari continued to champion a softer, more timeless approach to fashion — one that feels authentic, refined, and unmistakably her own.
