At the FIFA World Cup 2026, the journey to the destination might matter almost as much as the kick-off. Luxury houses, streetwear brands, and independent designers are shaping how countries present themselves on football’s biggest stage in North America. From the airport gear worn by football stars to their ensembles for their official portraits, the style choices that lead up to the next 6 weeks of football fever will matter a great deal with the world's most renowned designers and labels stepping onto the pitch to make their national teams shine. Weaving together British streetwear, French minimalism, and Madrid’s quiet luxury in their public appearances, the FIFA World Cup 2026 may have just begun but is already proving that fashion has become an integral part of the game.

France embraces a Jacquemus x Nike collaboration that feels playful and avant-garde. For Simon Porte Jacquemus, who grew up in the South of France, football has always been an important part of life as well as a powerful force for unity. The Parisian designer reinterpreted 1990s football nostalgia through a modern lens while incorporating the tricolours of the French flag into Les Bleus’ uniforms.
