When it comes to food, celebrities are just like us and enjoy the best of every world. While you'd think they'd only prefer fine-dining in high-rise restaurants, they too enjoy the nostalgia of simple yet flavourful fast food. For celebrities of the world, gourmet dining at expensive restaurants is a part of life but when they get a chance, nothing (except their strict diets, perhaps) stops them from grabbing a quick bite at a street cart. Whether they are at Michelin-starred restaurants or by the side of the street, to celebrities, food is as extravagant as much as it is comforting. HELLO! takes a look at some of the finest food spots which are beloved by celebrities from over the world.

1. Shah Rukh Khan – Mughlai cuisine in Mumbai and street food in Delhi

Shah Rukh Khan's love for North Indian cuisine is renowned. He often dines at the restaurant Bukhara, at the ITC Maurya hotel in Delhi, best known for slow-cooked Dal Bukhara and Tandoori Kebabs. In Mumbai, he is fond of dining at Khyber, a long-running upscale Mughlai restaurant. Turns out, SRK is a street food lover, too. Whenever he is in Delhi, he simply can't say no to a Chole Bhature at Sita Ram Diwan Chand and Parathas at Paranthe Wali Gali in Chandni Chowk. In Mumbai, he has mentioned his love for Vada Pav from Anand Stall in Juhu.

2. Kareena Kapoor Khan – Fine dining in Delhi and chaat in Mumbai

A self-touted foodie, Kareena Kapoor Khan believes in balance. While yoga is a regular part of her day, she also has a great weakness for indulging in fine dining fare. She enjoys eating at the restaurant, Tuscany at The Oberoi hotel in Delhi, which is known for its homemade pasta and risotto. In Mumbai, she heads for Japanese food to the renowned restaurant, Wasabi by Morimoto, located at The Taj Mahal Palace. She's also the kind of girl who is completely chaat crazy. Kareena frequents Elco Pani Puri Centre in Mumbai, which is known for its hygienic approach to tasty chaat.

3. Ranveer Singh – Steak in Dubai and Sindhi dal pakwan in Mumbai

Ranveer Singh's larger-than-life character finds expression in the food that he eats. He enjoys a juicy cut of steak at celebrity chef, Salt Bae's restaurant, Nusr-Et in Dubai. It is a gold-plated steak restaurant that has found global fame. However the actor is also very rooted in his native Sindhi culture and enjoys home-cooked Sindhi food. He visits the restaurant, Sindhful in Mumbai for Dal Pakwan and Sindhi Kadhi. He also likes the classic Mumbai Sandwich, a staple of every street sandwich stall and Pav Bhaji from Colaba joint, Canon Pav Bhaji.

4. Alia Bhatt – Vegan gourmet food in Mumbai, momos from Delhi and dosa in Bangalore

Alia Bhatt generally follows a clean diet but does not shy away from occasionally enjoying mouth-watering food either. Her favourite place for a healthy bite is Sequel Bistro in Mumbai, which offers organic and vegan fare. Alia does not shy away from street food, either as she enjoys Steamed Momos from Delhi's popular Majnu Ka Tila area, a neighbourhood well-known for Tibetan food. She also relishes idli and dosa from MTR in Bangalore whenever she's in the city.

5. Malaika Arora – Malabar curry and homemade pani puri in Mumbai

Malaika Arora is most frequently seen at her own restaurant, Scarlett House, which she opened with her son, Arhaan Khan in Mumbai's surburbs of Bandra and Juhu. With a menu inspired by what the celebrity herself likes to eat, Malaika indulges in the restaurant's Thecha Paneer, which is based on a personal recipe of hers and Malabar curry, which is one of her favourite picks. Her street food of choice is Pani Puri. As she is extremely particular about hygiene, she prefers home-style pani puri made with mineral water and sprouts.
 

6. Virat Kohli – Gourmet fine dining and chole bhature in Delhi

Virat likes dining at Nueva in Delhi, a fine dining restaurant which serves South American cuisine, where he has been spotted.
Despite adhering to an athlete's diet, Virat has openly conceded his fondness for Sita Ram Diwan Chand's Delhi-style Chole Bhature. It's however, only an occasional guilty pleasure, due to his strict fitness regimen.

7. David Beckham – Fine dining and fish & chips in London

Football icon David Beckham dines at London's Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, but there's also his hidden love for classic pub grub. His go-to spot for the British classic of Fish & Chips is at London's Golden Hind.

8. Priyanka Chopra Jonas – Fine dining in New York and vada pav in Mumbai

Priyanka Chopra Jonas's go-to eatery is Jean-Georges in New York for its French contemporary cuisine. When it comes to fast food, her favourite is a burger with fries tucked inside it. She never fails to indulge her Indian heritage when she visits her homeland and craves Mumbai's vada pav the most.

9. Kim Kardashian – Fine dining in Malibu and burgers in Paris

Kim Kardashian often visits Nobu in Malibu, a popular choice amongst the Hollywood celebrities for its traditional Japanese cuisine made with Peruvian ingredients. When she craves junk food, she frequents Ferdi in Paris, which is renowned for the Mac Ferdi Cheeseburger.

10. Gigi Hadid – Luxury Italian cuisine and pizza in New York 

Supermodel Gigi Hadid adores Italian cuisine in New York City. She often visits the celebrity haunt, Carbone and relishes their truffle pasta. When it comes to fast food, even Gigi can't resist a cheesy slice of New York-style pizza at Joe's Pizza.
