Naturals X Bombay Sweet Shop's summer ice-cream specials: The sweltering season of summer and ice-cream are made for each other; even more so when it's a line of limited-edition ice-creams that sees two dessert worlds collide. When Naturals and Bombay Sweet Shop joined hands for a summer line of ice-creams only available in Mumbai, it was a collaboration I didn't even know I needed this season. Their two flavours i.e. Coffee Fudge Crunch and Tender Coconut Naga Chilli, blend the classic taste of Naturals ice-cream with the dynamism of Bombay Sweet Shop's passion for fusion. The results aren't like any flavour I've tasted before. As a long-time fan of the Tender Coconut, the addition of Naga Chilli infuses a tinge of heat that slowly builds in every bite but never turns it from sweet to savoury, making it a unique bite that's a fresh (and spicy) summer choice. The combination of chocolate fudge with coffee ice-cream has a textural element with crunchy bits added to finish. Two flavours for each hand and the fact that it's only around for the season make this the perfect bite for the summer.

Carolina Herrera's Jasmine Absolute perfume: Carolina Herrera's Good Girl collection of fragrances is so iconic, the bottle alone is enough to decipher which scent it is—no spritzing necessary. So when the designer marked a decade of the famous heeled perfume with a new addition to the line-up, it was bound to be a winner and spoiler: it is. The Jasmine Absolute EDP by Carolina Herrera was crafted for the occasion. As its name suggests, jasmine is key in this blend but the pleasant surprise; for someone like me who doesn't pick floral accords as their top choice, is that it doesn't overpower the rest of the notes and turn it into something that smells like a flower bouquet. Surprisingly, a sweet accord is prominent through the perfume, which comes from its base notes of toffee and tonka beans. Delightfully long-lasting even during the Indian summer, this fragrance settles to a sweet and slightly floral scent with a wonderfully warm depth that emanates through; ideal for summer date nights and evenings on the town.

India's first official FACEGYM workout: You've probably gotten masks to brighten your skin and facials to improve its texture but if there's one treatment you may not have tried yet, it's a face workout. Exercise does wonders for the body to shape muscles and build structure so imagine what it can do for the face. FACEGYM, the UK studio chain that was founded in 2014, has finally made its way to India with Tira, with its first studio in Mumbai. As one of its very-first customers in India, I stepped into Mumbai's first FACEGYM studio with an open mind, which is highly important before you try it out. It isn't a relaxing facial where you'll doze off to the sounds of a bamboo flute. It's a very thorough workout session for the 40+ muscles in your face which help to sculpt and define your overall appearance. And like any physical workout, it isn't calming or soothing. It started with a weighted ball (like a medicine ball, but for the face!) to stretch out the muscles as a warm-up, if you will. With deft fingers and firm repeated movements, the Signature Sculpt treatment then began with the face being cleansed and skin being primed. From the contours of the jawline to the soft spots at the temple, muscles holding tension are identified and manipulated to release the tightness it is holding onto. In fact, it can get quite strenuous, which is something you should expect, just as you would in the middle of a set of barbell lifts. Pushing it further is the addition of Electronic Muscle Stimulation, worked around the folds of your face to further ease stress out. Once the movement is complete, the happy high of post-exercise bliss washes over me. A look in the mirror reveals tighter jowls and lifted cheekbones in just an hour. So it turns out that working out really does pay—even if it's for only an hour and someone else is doing it to your muscles.

There’s a reason some places stand the test of time — exceptional food, warm familiarity and a sense of occasion. Whether you love Italian cuisine or simply appreciate dining experiences done right, this is one table worth booking, with your eyes wide shut.
