Jaipur Rugs has opened a 20,000 sq. ft. flagship at Mumbai’s historic Empire Mills, transforming a former industrial warehouse into an immersive space for craft, design and contemporary luxury. Retaining elements of the building’s Victorian steel structure and pitched roof, the flagship places the brand’s handmade rugs within the larger story of Mumbai’s textile heritage and India’s weaving traditions.
The NCPA presented the India debut of the New Chamber St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra this month at the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre in Mumbai. Conducted by Yaroslav Zaboyarkin, the performance featured works by Dmitri Shostakovich and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, marking Shostakovich’s 120th birth anniversary and highlighting the continuing cultural exchange between India and Russia.
Sculpted India is bringing together sculptures and three-dimensional works by some of India’s most significant modern and contemporary artists, including Thota Vaikuntam, M.F. Husain, Krishen Khanna, Himmat Shah and Jogen Chowdhury. Presented at Design Democracy Hyderabad from September 18–20, the showcase explores identity, culture, nature and the built environment through diverse materials and forms, placing Indian sculpture in conversation with interiors and design.

Padel 360 is expanding its integrated approach to racquet sports with a new 15,000 sq. ft. destination in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The fourth facility from the brand will combine two international-quality padel courts, two pickleball courts, a café, Pilates and yoga studio and recovery centre, reflecting the growing demand for indoor sporting spaces that bring fitness, wellness and community together.
Range Rover has introduced its first fully electric Range Rover, bringing electric propulsion to its luxury SUV lineup. Built in Solihull, the vehicle combines the brand’s established design and off-road capability with twin permanent-magnet electric motors producing up to 405 kW and 850 Nm of torque, with a claimed WLTP range of up to 600 km.
KIKO Milano has opened its first Ahmedabad store at Phoenix Palladium Mall, extending its growing retail presence in India. The new space brings the Italian beauty brand’s makeup and beauty offerings to the city, including its 3D Hydra Lipgloss, Unlimited Double Touch Lipstick, Maxi Mod Mascara and Scent of Milan fragrance collection, with products designed to cater to Indian skin tones and preferences.

Superkicks and adidas Originals have unveiled the Samba “Heirloom”, a collaboration inspired by the Indian peti, the handcrafted storage trunk traditionally used to preserve treasured belongings across generations. The design reinterprets the iconic Samba through ideas of heritage, memory and craftsmanship, connecting Indian cultural references with contemporary streetwear.
JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu will mark World Wellness Weekend with The Wellness Flow on September 20, a morning of breathwork, meditation, sound healing, expressive art and nourishing food. Set against the Arabian Sea, the experience is designed around a slower, more mindful start to the day, with Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, chimes and tuning forks forming part of the sound journey.
beYon, the lab-grown diamond jewellery brand from the House of Titan, has expanded its retail presence with new exclusive stores in Borivali and Kharghar. The interactive spaces offer more than 1,200 designs across rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets and neckwear, with an emphasis on relaxed browsing, self-styling and personalised consultations.

Lindt & Sprüngli has opened its first Indian retail boutique at 5 Worldmark, Aerocity, New Delhi. The 1,100 sq. ft. space celebrates the Swiss chocolatier’s heritage through its signature LINDOR Pick & Mix experience, offering more than 25 flavours alongside EXCELLENCE and EXTRA CREAMY chocolate ranges, WAFERS, personalised gifting and seasonal collections.
Arté Salon has launched Arté Salon Luxo in Gurugram, its sixth outlet and first ultra-luxury format. Built around personalised consultation, the new salon brings together premium hair, beauty, skin and nail services with an elevated setting, hospitality and contemporary beauty techniques, positioning the experience around individual needs rather than a conventional salon visit.
Nykaa Fashion has launched Nykaa Fashion LUXE, a dedicated luxury destination bringing together more than 1,500 international luxury brands and 500 Indian designer labels. The platform spans fashion, accessories, bags, footwear, jewellery, watches, home and kids, offering names such as Versace, Tom Ford and Toteme alongside Indian designers including Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Masaba and Shantanu & Nikhil.

Campari Group has launched Espolòn Tequila in India, introducing its Blanco, Reposado and Añejo expressions across Mumbai, Goa, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. Made from Blue Weber Agave in Jalisco’s Highlands, the brand combines Mexican heritage with craft-led storytelling, including bottle artwork inspired by José Guadalupe Posada and a fermentation process accompanied by classical music.
Jio World Drive will host the fifth edition of Oktoberfest in Mumbai on September 26 and 27, bringing together more than 50 craft beers, global bites, live music and Bavarian-inspired entertainment. The two-day celebration will feature brews ranging from apple cider and rice lager to Belgian wheat beer and mead, alongside food pop-ups, Schuhplattler dancers, DJs and a line-up of playful challenges.
The Forresta Kitchen & Bar is expanding to Goa with The Forresta Kinaro, a 35,000 sq. ft. all-day dining and entertainment destination along the Ashwem–Mandrem stretch. Designed across multiple levels and zones, including sea-facing dining areas, an outdoor performance space and terrace, Kinaro combines coastal architecture, tropical landscaping, food, cocktails, music and a day-to-night social atmosphere.

The Australian Macadamia Festival returns to Mumbai from September 26 to October 4 for its fourth edition, bringing together restaurants, cafés, bakeries and bars across the city. Marking a return to where the festival began in 2023, the nine-day culinary takeover will see venues including Hakkasan, TwentySeven BakeHouse, Torii by Gauri Khan and Yazu experiment with Australian macadamias across dishes ranging from dim sum and bakes to desserts, ice creams and craft beer.
Peninsula Del Mar brings a new beachfront retreat to coastal Karnataka, spread across 25 acres near Yermal Beach and around 45 minutes from Mangalore International Airport. Ferrero Rocher has entered India’s premium chocolate bar segment with the launch of Ferrero Rocher Bars in Classic Hazelnut and 70% Cocoa Hazelnut variants. Nike After Dark Tour Mumbai will return on December 12, 2026, bringing its women-focused global running experience to the city. Multidisciplinary artist KAVYA and music producer Goya have collaborated on Glass Trees, a visual and musical exploration of fragility, connection and self-expression. Chili’s Grill & Bar has opened its 25th Indian outlet at World St., 5 Worldmark, Aerocity, marking its 10th location in Delhi-NCR. The new restaurant brings the brand’s Tex-Mex menu of fajitas, burgers, loaded nachos, ribs and salads to Aerocity, alongside its signature margaritas, drinks and casual, lively interiors.

adidas Originals and VegNonVeg have unveiled their first collaboration, the VegNonVeg Samba Mule, a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Samba inspired by India’s traditional jutti. Designed for easy transitions, the mule blends versatility with cultural references, making it equally suited to western and traditional dressing. Details include a pointed padded tongue, tonal botanical embroidery, gold Trefoil detailing, gold foil branding and a red lining inspired by juttis. The green-and-red insoles represent “Veg” and “NonVeg”, while jutti-inspired artwork reinforces the collaboration’s Indian identity. Available in black globally and silver exclusively at VegNonVeg in India, the Samba Mule launched on September 13, with select global adidas partner stores stocking it from September 19.
NEEDLEDUST and Abhinav Mishra return with the third chapter of their collaboration, SAHIBAN ’25, inspired by the incomplete yet enduring love story of Mirza and Sahiban. The collection introduces more than 40 new SKUs, including vanity potlis with mirrors, slide-in block heels, tie-up heels, festive bags and a refreshed NEEDLEDUST Men line featuring peshawari sandals and loafers. Signature mirror work remains central, complemented by shades of sage, soft pink, antique silver, tissue gold, twilight red and emerald. Celebrating four decades in fashion, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla marked the milestone at Mubarak Baug, their recently opened 20,000-square-foot flagship in South Mumbai. Known for elevating Indian crafts including chikankari, mirror work, Resham and Vasli into couture art, the designers brought together 50 models and longtime muses for two dramatic fashion flash mobs choreographed by Lubna Adams and Rian Mistry. Dimple Kapadia, Sonam Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh, Navya Nanda, Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Radhika Ambani and several other friends and clients attended in AJSK creations. Modern Indian luxury label AMPM, founded by Priyanka Modi, is marking its Wāpasī to Mumbai with a new flagship store in Kala Ghoda. The space brings together the brand’s design philosophy, sensorial universe and understated approach to luxury, while reconnecting with a city integral to its journey. As AMPM approaches its 25th anniversary in 2027, the new flagship represents a homecoming and a new chapter for the brand.
Comic Con India is expanding to Navi Mumbai for the first time, with the inaugural edition scheduled for November 28 and 29 at the CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre. The event will bring its mix of comics, anime, gaming, cosplay and wider pop-culture experiences to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region as part of the 2026–27 season.

Dyson has introduced the CameraJet in Paris, a toothbrush designed around camera-assisted precision cleaning. Its integrated 100k-pixel macro lens and machine-learning technology are designed to identify and track gaps between teeth in real time, triggering targeted mouthrinse jets, while its sonic technology is engineered to maintain bristle movement across the tooth surface.
Rolling Loud, the world's biggest hip-hop music festival, will return to Navi Mumbai on December 12 and 13, 2026, with its second edition at Loud Park. Produced in partnership with and exclusively ticketed on District, the hip-hop festival will bring together international and Indian artists, with the lineup yet to be announced, alongside a wider programme of on-site experiences beyond the music.
